This is very hard to write, but when I was in the 3rd grade I was bullied so badly I wanted to kill myself. All because I was shy, quiet and awkward. I was thrown in the boy’s bathroom by these 3 particular kids who would punch and kick me as hard as they could. I could barely walk as everyday they would abuse me over, and over again. The other kids in school would just laugh at me and no one helped. In fact, those same kids who watched and knew about my abuse would just join in, tease me, and they even threw food at me during lunch. My mom came to school so much to fight for me, but it didn’t help. I had just about given up living in this world. Somehow God saved me and I found writing. It was an outlet to take me away from the pain I was going through in this world. I wanted to create different characters, and a different world just to escape. Writing really saved my life. Now at 42 I just released my first novel. My Dead Blue Caterpillar. I have to say I still am a bit shy so this is hard for me to ask but I am starting a program and foundation for kids who have and are being bullied any support for my book helps my cause for bullied kids. It’s very inexpensive less than 3 dollars for my book which just received book of the month on Goodreads..I want to thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart for you help to keep our kids safe. Just trying to do a good thing from out of the pain I went through.....
Thank you so much.

I’m new on GR 😊 I’ve started reading in English a year ago, before that i've been reading in Hungarian, but I’ve got bored of the translation mistakes/errors. So I switched to English.
My English is not as good but I’m practicing. :)
A most recent thriller what I’m read is Verity by Colleen Hoover, it’s really good. :)
My TBR list is full of good thriller. :D
I hope I have a lot of new friend!
Happy reading!

My name is Pam and I love reading books of many different genres. I love thrillers, mysteries and suspense novels, but I also enjoy reading other types as well; especially science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal fiction as well as nature, gardening, and history. I also generally read 2 or more books at the same time; with one of them on my kindle and the rest physical books.
As for the book that is better aligned with this Group, I am currently reading The Emperor's Tomb by Steve Berry. Some of my favorite mystery/thriller authors include Steve Berry, James Patterson, Faye Kellerman, Jonathan Kellerman, J. A. Jance, Blake Pierce, John Sandford, Ty Hutchinson, Janet Evanovich, and Stephen Coonts.
I am looking forward to the group discussions.

#Vader!

Yes, this is the same Bruce Dickinson that sings for British heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

I guess my life is boring thats why i crave the race turning pages till i am exhausted scared out of my mind and have to call in sick at work because i stayed up all night reading.
Lisa Jackson and Lisa Gardner where my first murder mystery authors that took me away from fantasy. Thank God!
Favorite books are
I m thinking of ending things, Bird Box, Defending Jacob, The kind worth killing, A beautiful terrible thing
I love the library.
I ordered 4 books from reviews and read a couple chapters from each book and found i am not interested in any of them. I dove into book by book off the shelf snd searched the library listing and came home with 6 interesting books, i am so excited.Just tickled😉

Welcome, Lyle! I, too, love Michael Connelly!
(Oops. Didn't mean to call you Kyle!)
