@Leslie, @Rebecca - No worries, I'll work on the other three and if I need to I'll pick something else. I wasn't sure about that one and the others I needed to read for review looked orange to me.

I have also had a bit of difficulty finding red covers, it seems that I have a lot of zombie - horror red books but I am not quite in the mood for that. Here are 6 and we'll see where I get to and what I fell like reading
I hope they are red enough.
@Sherri - are you asking about these covers?@Marguerite -Lovers looks fine to me.
@Melissa - I will definitely be in that support group!
And Lisa Kay - I'm just amazed by all your Pinterest boards!! Wow.
@Jane - yes, they all look good to me. The other captains can weigh in.@Michelle - I'd say yes to the first and no to the second. Sorry:={ But I just finished that one and really liked it!
@Marguerite - you are welcome! And I love JAK - you know that LOL!!
~Melissa~ wrote: "I started the same kind of shelving system as I recently joined another challenge that will use cover color."I just looked at them, Melissa. Looks great. I think it was Barbara★ that started me using the zz in the front; makes it tons easier to "tag" their color that way, and they all stay together.
Leslie wrote: "I'm just amazed by all your Pinterest boards!! Wow."Yeah, and it all started here on GRs; I needed a way to keep track of the pics I posted. Some I really wanted to "keep."
~Melissa~ wrote: "Oh I really enjoyed
. Read it years ago."I've thought of reading that, but I'm afraid I'll cry. I'm such a woosie.
I have to complain to someone...I am just not into most of the books I'm reading right now.
I just want to finish them so I can read something else...
Only
is holding my interest.
Oh no, Marla! I hate it when that happens. Maybe you could put it on hold? Get through one by one with another book that you are enjoying.
Oh, dang it. It looked like it was more. I'm blaming it on the book - it's longer than the English counterparts. Oh well. Thanks for catching that,LK!
Well, if your cover is red and had more pages, then it works. I just didn't see that edition on GoodReads.
I have changed my mind on my red books.
,
,Lovers, A Rose for the Crown,Cleopatra: A Life
Now here is the thing in the above pic the dress looks purple. But on my book it looks red as in this picture http://www.google.com/imgres?q=cleopa... is it red or not lol?

Marguerite, I would say that is red enough...it is a beautiful red on that website. I notice sometimes GRs really has washed out colors for the books.
Lisa thank you. No idea why GR shows one color and the book I have is another.lol I had to go to google images to find the image that matched my book.rofl
Lisa I have been wanting to read Cleopatra A Life and A Rose for the Crown for a long time and I thought why not now.lol
Just finished
. I loved this book!!! There were times I laughed and times I wanted to cry while I was reading it.

Wow, great looking books on the thread! Thanks Lisa Kay for all your help. And I agree about books looking different depending on location of book. Please don't hesitate to show us an alternate cover if we tell you a cover won't work.I'm willing to accept many different shades of red but the key thing for me is that it must be something on the cover that is significant. hope that makes sense.
And can I say UGH!! I can't fit any books that I need to read for other challenges right now into my books that have red covers. So frustrating!!
@Marguerite - the Cleopatra book looks amazing!
I actually found
at the library. I loaded it up on my ipod and am listening it as I do some things around the house this morning.

I remember it being a pretty emotional read...so maybe hold off until your in the mood for a good cry☺
~Melissa~ wrote: "I might read this for a different challenge...would you consider this red or no
"Hmmmm...I'm going to defer to Leslie on that one. Isn't she the one running the red challenge, or am I confused?
No your right...she is. The book cover is so small and I was trying to find a bigger version of it to see if I could see the color better but wasn't able to find 8(
Melissa, I'm having a hard time seeing the red, but I will let someone else weigh in.I just finished
yesterday and I finished
today. Plus I found this cover for it!! Yay!! I read a red book. That was fun to say.And I have to say that I loved Purity in Death!!

I read another series by her - love it and I can't think of the name of it right now but really wonderful characters!!
I get purplish vibe actually!Leslie, the In Death series is very good. I'm amazed NR has been able to sustain it with so many books!
Still looks brownish purplish to me - I'm sorry Melissa! And I really like Suzanne Brockman - I think her other series is called Troubleshooters. I've read several of those. This one looks good! THUD! There goes another one on my TBR!
Don't worry guys and thanks for the blow up version of the book - the bottom part of the book was what I thought was red but it kind of looks brownish red now that it is big. I'll figure out a red book or two for this ☺

Yep - that's the name of the series....I love Sam Starrett in that series....oh and a few of the other men as well, lol
I love the In Death series as well...I think I'm a few behind on that - will have to rectify that soon
There's a lovely Buddy Read going on that you are welcome to join, Melissa! And yes, I remember reading Sam's book in the Troubleshooter series.

I'll have to check out Troubleshooters.
