Winter Challenge 2012-2013: Completed Tasks with ?s/problems

No, I have you down for completing tasks:
5.4,5.10
10.2
15.5, 15.10
20.6, 20.8, 20.9
25.2
For a total of 135, which is the same total you had in post 1131.

Thanks, Dee.

Task 25.13 -- Keep Holding On was written by Susane Colasanti, who does not mention Simone Elkeles as an influence. However, Miranda Kenneally does list Simone Elkeles as an influence so if you actually read a book by Miranda Kenneally, please repost this task with the correct book.

Please check your totals. I have you at 195 points."
Kristi, Yes you are correct. I clearly just didn't add correctly :) I did make a post on 1/29 though worth 20 points. So my corrected total is now 215. Thank you!

they will need title; author; ISBN, page count; publisher etc
Pam post 1473
The History of Egypt, Chaldæa, Syria, Babylonia, and Assyria has 440 pages
Was that the big book you claimed? Did you read a different edition?

Task 50.1 - book A requires three instances of the same letter in the title. Alice in Wonderland has only 2 As in the title. Also, it this is the edition you read, it only has 96 pages and is, therefore, ineligible for the 50 point task. If you read a different version of this book with a different title, please repost this task with a link to the correct book edition.

Task 10.1 - Wanted appears to be a book that exists only in ebook format. eBooks with no print version must be verified for length in the eBook verification thread.
Here are the posting requirements for ebooks: If you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you MUST provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "ebook Approved post #"
Please repost this task with the required information.
Also, your total is a bit off. You can't earn 83.7 points in this challenge. All the 5 point tasks = 5 points, all the 10 point tasks = 10 points. Taking out 10.1 until the above issue is resolved leaves you with 70 points for this post.

Wonderful moderators - I accidentally got the wrong number of GR authors in the readerboard again (thru post 1450). You have me listed for 27, but it should only be 26 as of post 1446. Not that I mind getting extra tickets...

I have 26 through post 1446- I had lots of trouble updating (that pesky over capacity message!!) My copy/paste must have had issues.
It should be better now. (fingers crossed)

Task 20.9 - According to Amazon, The History of Egypt, Chaldæa, Syria, Babylonia, and Assyria is part 1 of 12. The rules of the challenge state: 7. Each book must be read completely and can be counted only once per challenge. All elements of books separated into multiple parts (often identified as “Part 1”, “Part 2”, etc.) must be read.

Task 20.3, option 2: Gay Apparel -- REQUIRED: For any option requiring a cover image, you must include the cover in your post.
Please repost this task with the required element.

Task 20.1 -- Sorry, but The Widow of the South does not appear to be Robert Hick's first book. It's his first novel, but the task specifically requires it to be a first book. His first book appears to be Nashville: Pilgrims of Guitar Town, published in 2000.

Your summary says 3 big book tickets, but you haven't claimed any. You must specifically state that you are claiming a big book ticket.

Task 25.11 -- Required: Please state the chain of books used to arrive at Book 2.
Please repost this task with the required information.
ETA: Also, I assume you wanted to claim Maids of Misfortune for task 20.1, not 20.5 since you already have a book there. No need to repost this one, just let me know if this assumption is incorrect.

Task 25.11 -- Required: Please state the chain of books used to arrive at Book 2.
Please repost this task with the required information.

Task 30.4 - This task actually requires book 1 to have the same number of words in the title that corresponds to your roll (so in your case, 4). Then the second book can be one with 1-6 words. The books you have will work, just in opposite order. No need to repost, just letting you know. ;-)

Task 25.3, book B -- REQUIRED: Include the letter count in your post, as shown in the examples in the task description.
Please repost this task with the required information.

Sorry. As soon as I saw your note to Laurie ME about this, I knew I'd done it wrong--and I'd even gone back and reread the task before I posted. Will repost tout suite.

Task 25.8 -- The Gladiator's Master appears to be a book that exists only in ebook format. eBooks with no print version must be verified for length in the eBook verification thread.

Task 25.11 - According to the task description, Hard Day's Knight is your book #0. Meaning that, since you rolled a 2, you would choose a book off of the Readers Also Enjoyed list for Hard Day's Knight and then a second book. So your list would look something like this:
Book A: Hard Day's Knight (#0)
From Hard Day's Knight Readers Also Enjoyed list I chose Can't Take My Eyes Off of You (#1)
From Can't Take My Eyes Off of You Readers Also Enjoyed list I chose and read:
Book B: __________________________ (#2)

Thank you kindly. :)

I apologize. I need to send you flowers or chocolate or something.

LOL... As much as I appreciate flowers, you don't need to do anything. It'll all work out in the next couple of updates.

I claimed a Goodreads author in post #1590 that isn't showing up in that section of the readerboard. I checked to be sure it was updated, and it says it is through post #1600.
Below is a copy of my post, if that helps!
Thanks,

20.3 Chris MD's Task: Deck the Halls
I chose "the old year passes" and read a book published in 2012. I read The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker.
**Karen Thompson Walker is a Goodreads author!**

Task 10.6 - The task actually says that the author's initials must be found sequentially (either backward or forward) in NEWYEARSRESOLUTION. So Robert J. Wagner won't work. However, you're in luck as his coauthor, Scott Eyman, does - NEWYEARSRESOLUTION. No need to do anything, just FYI.

Task 20.10 -- Posting Requirements state: 3. To claim a task in Completed Tasks, you MUST include a link to the book edition you read. For instructions on adding a link, see post 1 of Add book/author/cover Instructions in General Help.
Please repost this task with the required link.

I still have 5 more points than you do. I've got you at 1055 as of post 1621. Is that right?

Task 30.2, Book B, option 2 actually requires a a book that shows "something" flying in the air---- If it is flying or floating on the cover it will do. While the airplane on the cover of Plane Insanity is, indeed, a flying thing, it is not actually flying on the cover. If this is the cover of the book you read, you'll need to replace it with another book. If you read a different version, please repost this task with a link to the correct version.
