I've enjoyed all of the books I've read by Julie Klassen --

It's hard to choose a favorite.

I can't really choose between

Looks like you need to read The Maid of Fairbourne Hall :)

Thanks Aery!! Giving me more ideas of where to start! And knowing my taste, I am sure I will like them!

I am reading Carla Neggers "Heron's Cove", the setting goes between Dublin, Ireland and the rocky coast of Maine.

And I got a gift card for Amazon, so I picked up some discounted ebooks--

And I picked up this one for free today:

I have purchased 8 in the last few days... ;)
Miss Thornrose and the Rake
Miss Truelove Beckons
Dashing Through the Snow
The Blackmailed Bride
Engaging the Earl
The Girl in the Gatehouse
The Silent Governess
A Loyal Companion

Love's Reckoning was sooo good! At Every Turn is on my to-read list.

Beth - those first two books are my favorite Sarah Addison Allen books!!

And recently checked out:

Was my bookshelf useful? ;)"
DID U SAY EDENBROOKE? I HEART THAT BOOK
I just over the past days got Into the Long Dark Night, Miss Delacourt Speaks Her Mind, Emerald, The Captive Queen of Scots (Stuart Saga, #2), and Wolf by the Ears in the mail. :) 6 more on the way!

That is a lovely list! :) I loved Wolf by the Ears when I was younger.

It will be a great day to stay home and READ! So . . . I went to the library and took out 9 books! (many by Virginia Woolf)

(SHHH - I also ordered online 8 books + a Mansfield Park DVD)

Anni Albers: Pictorial Weavings by Anni Albers;
Bamie,Theodore Roosevelt's Remarkable Sister by Lilian Rixley

1999 version with Frances O'Connor & James Purefoy.
I should have asked before I purchased it. Which version do you like?
I thought it was strange that when I was putting together the amazon order that I type up "Mansfield" Park (the film) and on the next line, type up a book entitled "Mansfield" (biography of Katherine Mansfield).
** Lately, I am reading a lot of work by Virginia Woolf.

we got some snow yesterday. :)"
How much snow? We are covered but it looks so nice on the tree limbs.
I love reading in winter. It is the best time to read -- just curl up in a big comfy chair with a blanket and a hot cup of tea (I can't do coffee anymore).
