Ronie Kendig is a bestselling, award-winning author of over thirty books. She grew up an Army brat, and now she and her Army-veteran husband have returned to their beloved Texas after a nearly ten-year stint in the Northeast. They survive on Sonic runs, barbecue, and peach cobbler that they share--sometimes--with Benning the Stealth Golden. Ronie's degree in psychology has helped her pen novels of intense, raw characters.

Since launching onto the publishing scene, Ronie’s Rapid-Fire Fiction has hit the CBA Bestseller List, won the prestigious Christy Award, Carol Award, the RT Reviewers' Choice Award (twice), the HOLT Medallion, the IRCA, and FamilyFiction’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Starless Crown by James Rollins

Weighing in at over twenty-two hours of listening pleasure, The Starless Crown is classic Rollins with a slow burn and in-depth world-building. The story is unique and the characters well defined. Admittedly, at first, I didn't realize how long this ...more

I really enjoyed this--it was new and a bit of a departure from what I'd been reading. The ending felt like it wouldn't quite ever come, so I started losing interest. Still really enjoyed it, though. Looking forward to the next one. ...more

This was such a (why does it feel wrong to use this word??) cute story. I enjoyed the journey and the ultra-satisfying ending! I've always appreciated Nietz's work.

Oh my gracious--that ending! *gasp* Absolutely brilliant conclusion (?) to this series. Martin has a very unique voice that works so well with his brand of storytelling. I never feel let down, and always champ at the bit for the next story! Bravo!

“If I am inclined to doubt, steady my faith; if I am tempted, make me strong to resist; if I should miss the mark, give me courage to try again. Guide me with the light of truth and grant me wisdom by which I may understand the answer to my prayer.”
Ronie Kendig, Digitalis

“Loving a warrior is hard. Dying in the line of duty is an honor to them. They would rather take that road than to dishonor their sacred oath”
Ronie Kendig, Hawk

“I've prayed night and day for God to lead me, guide me, to make me stronger and prepare me. Yet, I am tormented with memories, suffer debilitating flashbacks, and now-now my father is killed. And you're gong to stand there and tell me it's God's will? Why should I pray? It hasn't done me much good." Yitshak drew back, he brow again knotted. "What? You think praying is supposed to make life easier? If the great I Am answers your prayers, it is not to make life easier, but to prepare you to handle more!”
Ronie Kendig, Digitalis
