That is my favourite one. :) enjoy! Let me know what you think! I do think there needs to be a new series of Mansfield Park which is very accurate and a decent length and more modern than the 1983 one. But the 1999 one is my favourite. :)

Haha. Not really ... well, The Hobbit is pretty action packed. And so far LotR hasn't been all that boring or hard to read. Thanks xD.

@Aerykah: Awesome! Which editions? I bought the movie versions, lol, so these ones: The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

message 116: by Aerykah (new)

Aerykah | 2071 comments I didn't see the editions I have in any of the photos here on Goodreads... The books are small paperbacks in a gold colored box, though, I think. I got them used (pretty obvious considering what I paid for them) & you can tell they've been handled quite a bit, but they're still in really good condition. :)

That is so cool! They sound beautiful. Mine were a bit bashed in the mail (the corners of the box set are scuffed :c) so they look read, too. And they will look read when I've read them!

Ikr? I can't wait to read it. I've read SO many books about Elizabeth I and Kat is continually in these books (but as a minor character) and she's always intrigued me. ♥ and Karen Harper is a good author. she uses some bad language that I don't care for but she's VERY good with her plots. I liked her Pyson Garden.

Poyson*** (misspelled on purpose)

Kim-Lost-In-A-Book I'll have to look the author up and see what I can find of hers. bad language doesn't bother me, unless it's just excessive for the sole purpose of a shock value then it's just dumb. Thanks.

I was thinking of checking out Silva's Fallen Angel, wondering if I should? I know there's a series of books involving the main character and I haven't read any of them. Was wondering if I should read those books before reading this one?

message 143: by Leslie (new)

Leslie (chibilee02) Well today, I'll finally get to pick up Bring Up the Bodies (Thomas Cromwell, #2) by Hilary Mantel so I'll be currently reading that.

message 144: by Kim-Lost-In-A-Book (last edited Feb 13, 2013 11:02AM) (new)

Kim-Lost-In-A-Book Leslie - I didn't realize that there is a series of books involving the main character and nothing in the plot summary on the book indicated that this was "another" story involving the character so maybe it doesn't matter? lol I don't know. If I read it before you decide to check it out I'll let you know, the plot sounded really good.

message 145: by Leslie (new)

Leslie (chibilee02) Thank you Kim. Yea I looked it up and there are previous books written involving the main character. You'll probably end up reading it before I check it out cuz I am backed up in books I wanna read Lol Got a looonnng list (and growing) of books I want to read. So would appreciate any feedback on that book. ^_^
