Hi everyone! I'm super excited for another game of Bingo, got in when someone dropped out the first round and been playing ever since. Last time, I found Richelle Mead's Succubus series and it was awesomesauce. Looking forward to finding more fabulous series this time around!
Well, while we're waiting for someone to volunteer as captain (or I can just jump in and nominate one you lovely ladies if you'd prefer *wink*) , let's take a look at name nominations. Also, we are the third team to be "Lucky" Thirteen (no name endorsement, just kind of fun to say). Team 13 has not yet placed in a bingo round, but hopefully we'll be changing that.You can check out past team name ideas on the name history spreadsheet.
I agree we need to get Team 13 placed! LOLI have never done it before but if nobody else is able I will volunteer as Captain for this round.
And since I'm feeling chatty (and putting off some Bingo updating, LOL!), gonna do the self-intro bit. I'm Judithe. And I'm a Bingo addict. I love this game. I can never resist coming back for more...no matter how busy & insane RL becomes. (However, I have managed to get my challenge addiction back to more reasonable levels~thanks to BSB!)
My time-zone is Japan-time! Yay! When I'm not being a BSB ninja, I do other Mod stuff around here (fun!). In RL, I'm a teacher (university...which is on summer break for two-plus more glorious weeks! And have an English conversation school, teach one day a week at a nursery school, and translate on the side (Japanese=>English, usually) with some other volunteer work-related stuff on occasion). I love language, and my job most of the time!
I have two kids, almost 18 and 14. My 14, aka Kid Locust...he's at that "age" I wish I'd had~can eat and eat and eat and is still this skinny pole!...has high school entrance exams in just over 5 months. Stress. The older one is set for next year (almost). I'm saying good-bye to being a baseball-mama very soon. Whew. (Will miss, but will be such a time relief!) There's a spouse around, too, but as the housekeeping-division-of-labor war is heating up again, no more mention of him.
Well, next up would be the pet, the price of gasoline and whether that typhoon is possibly going to meander up here. Rather than put you all to sleep, gonna pester some other team or get to my "To-do" list :D.

I am Jen and I'm from South Carolina. Married to my childhood friend and we have two adorable pups and a devilish kitty cat named Lucky.I work from home as an online marketer processor part-time and rest of the time I am on the road with my hubby and his used tire business.
I have loads of reading time usually but have constant interruptions. Grrr lol I love playing Bingo and am on Goodreads way more than I should be because my TBR list keeps spiking instead of going down!

FREE SPACE Rules
To get free space credit, each team member must pick a book from one of these three options:
** Please keep in mind that all books chosen during the game must be a minimum of 200 pages and graphic novels are not allowed.
(1) An SOS Book of the Month: Any month while the game is in play
OR
(2) A book off of any of the group's new release thread folder or the group's new release thread archive folder: Any book listed on one of the new release threads; no matter the date of release
OR
(3) A book off of the group's bookshelf: Any shelf or tag; No date restriction - books added at anytime may be chosen
Be sure to post on your team's thread: which book you chose for FREE SPACE credit, which of the three options above you used to pick your book, your rating and your review once you've read it.
Once all members of each team have posted the above information, your team will get "a stamp" in the FREE SPACE. :D
Members don't have to pick and read a book right away, they can, but it's not required. This is not a team read, each member chooses their own book TBR for their team's free space credit. You can choose which book to read and when to read it, but no team will get free space credit until all members have read, rated & reviewed a book chosen from one those options.
I'm going to read (probably!)
for Free Space, off the group's bookshelf (3) because it's the first week...Monday is a national holiday, and I've been meaning to get to this since last fall! (Plus it was on almost every bingo shelf, taunting me, since mid-August!)
I think everybody has checked in except FlibBityFLooB so far. I sent her a pm just now.
So...just checking I have this right....I'm reading feed next week by Mira grant as part of a buddy read. I can nominate this as my free space book because it fits several of the book shelves: new2me, zombies, etc.
Bit more about me:
I'm married with 2 adorable fur-kids: my doggie girls echo and jade. I'm an emergency nurse which takes up most of my time and I also teach karate. I live about an hour outside Melbourne and may (ahem!) have a (slight) bath and body addiction to go along side my reading addiction :P

Thank you for the well-wishes, Judithe. I'm feeling much better and am back on solid-food :) though, my stomach muscles still ache........ :(
For my freebie, I've already decided I will be reading A Sliver of Shadow (found it on the fae bookshelf in SOS shelves).I picked it up with the intention of reading it a couple weeks back and put it down to read other things instead. So, this will be a good excuse to start it over again and make it through :)

Hello! I'm Suzanne and I'm from Indianapolis. I have a 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 girls and a husband all stuffed inside a house full of books! I usually read pretty quickly, but I do get interrupted A LOT as well!!I like Lucky Thirteen or Lucky Ladies, it's kinda hard not to like the lucky names!
Oh and I have absolutely no clue what to read for our free space...

Yea I was kinda leaning towards the plays on Lucky as well because lots think 13 is so "unlucky" LOLWe could even combine the two summin like Thirteen's Lucky Ladies or Thirteen's Lady Luck

Belinda if you scroll to the top of the page you'll see, top right - Group Home, Events, Invite People, Bookshelf, Photos, Members, Discussions, etc. Just scroll up there and click on Bookshelf cause they are all links. (All green writing on GR is a link). That list is on the top right of every screen in the group.
