5 stars: This book slapped me in the face (in the best way) and I am so happy I was able to read it. I need to buy it and put it on my shelf. Usually these books have amazing execution, wondeful pacing, a clear plot and arc, and laughs or some thrills that make your hands sweat and make you stressed, and the characters pass the sexy lamp test. In other words, I am picky and if the art doesn’t move me, my brain needs to know why I didn’t connect with it.
4 stars: I loved most things about this book and would probably buy it, but there are one or two things I would change about it.
3 stars: Most of my DNF's are 2.5-3 star books if i continued to read them. Theres usually enough things off, or i just am not the reader for it
2 stars: If you literally use AI in your book or you did something weird you get this rating. It has to be words on the page but not a book. This is like, your book caused mental distress. Your book needs edits. Maybe start over.
1 star: AI users, and icky books get this basically get this lol. I don’t really keep reading books I hate.
