You're right. Definately no sea creatures in the hunger games.
Maybe someone thought finnick was a sea god? :)
I'm going to mention this on the goodreads librarians group so someone with the power to remove can take care of that.

Beowulf belongs to the list.

btw I love your name. :)

This page probably will do a much better job explaining than me.

You only need to read about the first three sections, the rest just explains librarian protocol.
If you have more questions you can ask me or check out the librarians group (there should be a link at the top of the page I linked you to).
Amazing list. I want to read them all! 2012 resolution, perhaps :-)

In the pond when he goes to slay grendel's mother.

Someone thinks it has sea cretures in it. I have been wondering about it too. Have you read it? If so, are there sea creatures in it? If there aren't than I can remove it from this list. Thanks if you can help! :)

Ted Dekker's "Skin" also has no sea creatures in it. At all.

Carousel Tides
Its a book where one of the supporting characters is a selkie and also another character who is the love interest (maybe, they did form some sort of connection)of the main character. is believed to be a selkie but is really a (view spoiler)

Is it possible to remove books that someone else added to a list you created? Only I got some like that on a list I made. :/
Would be nice to able to remove them.

You have to be a librarian. If you want you can just give me a link to your list with a list of the books that should be removed and I can take care of it for you. :)

From what I've gathered, I don't think it matters if it is a main character or a supporting character.

Ok When in doubt I ask. :)

You're right, there are definitely no sea creatures in Divergent....... :/

It doesn't have to be the main character, definitely! Some of these books have regular, old-fashioned sea monsters that are not really "characters" at all but just, y'know, attack ships or whatever. But thanks for asking!
Danielle, if you or someone else with librarian status wants to remove things like Divergent and Ted Dekker that would be great.

I read Paranormalcy. The main character's best friend was a mermaid

Well, he lives in an underwater city, right? I guess that's close enough ;-)

Dont speak his name...or you might summon him :P

I read Paranormalcy a while ago and the there is a mermaid and I think some other kind water creature too.
