Jo Wu attends UC Berkeley, where she studies biology and creative writing. Her work has appeared in, among other publications, "Underneath the Juniper Tree's Best of 2012 Anthology," "Thrones of Desire," and "Amok: An Anthology of Asia-Pacific Speculative Fiction." She also models under the alias Carmilla Jo.

Her short story, "Devoured by Envy," has been praised by Publishers Weekly as "the most Gothic of the successful stories" in the anthology "Darker Edge of Desire: Gothic Tales of Romance." ...more

Kickstarter Success for Martial Hero: A Limited-Edition Wuxia Fantasy Anthology

This blog is incredibly backlogged, and I was on a social media hiatus for the past 4 months, only to be dragged out of my grave by my dear friend Julia Vee who essentially went, “Get in loser, we got a few days left to promote our Kickstarter!”
