You guys are rockin'! I'm stuck in two books I'm reading
The Sparrow (slow!) & listening to
11/22/63 (looong!) and didn't get them finished in time to start new ones by today. Boo! I'm about 75% done but hope to get one done by tomorrow I hope!
As far as verse books go -
Home of the Brave was an excellent children's book if anyone needs one to go with.
I think I'll for sure be starting with
The Catcher in the Rye for my RL book club and not sure what else yet! Excited to start....

Hi! Glad to be on a team and ready to go - this is my first year participating. I like ALL books and can read anything usually (although romance isn't at the top of my list). I usually have 2 books going - one to read and one to listen to which has really upped my yearly book count read.
3 Favorites in 2017:
Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and RedemptionOrdinary GraceThe Husband's Secret(LOVED Ready Player One and want to see the movie. The Sun is Also a Star & Salt to the Sea are on my TBR.)
I'm in Minnesota, have 3 kids and utilize the library and used book sales for all my bookish needs. I'm in 3(!) real life book clubs so have to juggle getting it all in for sure. Looking forward to reading with you all!
I will also need explaining on how to track books read/hands so just let me know what I need to do! Do we just track them on our Uno read shelf?

Sakii- you have The Rosie Project on your TBR. I say go for it! It's a good one.

And I did love it! All the way to the end. Very good and fulfilling. Some questions were left at the end but that's ok - we don't need to know everything and actually would appreciate a sequel. So glad I got to this one, and so timely with the season of winter and hockey. (Go MN Wild!)

100 pages to go and am loving it! He really sets the scene and provided a lot of buildup. Can't wait to see how this turns out answers it hasn't been too typical yet.

I'm starting this tonight! I've got good feelings about this one...so many positive reviews!

Lol - hoping to get to this one yet this year! Sounds so good!

I listened to this and maybe if I had read it would have found it funnier, but it was good. I liked her different perspective and humor about everything. It definitely opened my eyes and want to read Let's Pretend This Never Happened. My sister really enjoys her work and recommended to me. Glad I have experienced it too!

Reading
Two If by Sea - trying to finish, it's good, but a little complicated and not clear at times.

Flying through my April f2f book club & community wide book read
Miss Hazel and the Rosa Parks League
and is fabulous so far. Love this author - he also wrote
The Healing, another favorite.
The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag
Connection: same author/series

I think the second book is going to tie it up nicely when I read it so am actually looking forward to it. And I think people can fall in love quite quickly especially in the beginning when it is more likely be to an infatuation state.

Currently reading and almost done with
The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag
which I am really enjoying. Didn't like the first one so much but maybe because I listened to it on audio. Now I want to totally continue the series.
