Sounds good! I will check in with Abbie and Tracy and see where we can start. :)

I don't see a need to restrict if it's already been a Bee book - it's always fun to revive book discussions.

I have 6 books that I've been approved for waiting for me. I keep track of them on a shelf here on Goodreads. I've come across some fantastic books as well as some that I didn't enjoy at all!
One in particular,
I read and really didn't enjoy became quite an award winner.

@Amy - No, not really. I try to keep track of my life! :) It gets hard with kids and activities and work and my niece and nephew's special things keep me busy!

I'm about halfway done - I am enjoying the story, but am having a hard time with the names - for some reason all these character's names pull me out of the story as I read. I have to hear how they sound so I can absorb them and they become a distraction somehow. I'm not sure why this is, I didn't have trouble with characters in other translated works.

I don't think I've read any of them, but I know I've got a few on my TBR. Others I hadn't heard of, but they sound fantastic!

I've read 38! I do find the list interesting - I know there are several of these titles on my TBR as well.

The only time I really procrastinate on reading something is when I know the book is going to take an emotional toll on me. Books about the Holocaust or books where there is child abuse. I have to be in the right place to do those.
I love long books too - they don't intimidate me, but I do have some of Hailee's habit of putting aside books I think I'll really love. I want to save them for when I can focus on them and savor them!

I have several favorites that I listen to Pandora stations to hear. I feel like I’m more exposed to modern music than my mom chose to be, but there’s not a lot I love that’s too modern. I would LOVE if someone would curate the soundtrack from The Blacklist. I LOVE those songs!
My pandora stations are: Billy Joel, New Order, Of Monsters and Men, Sarah McLaughlin, Elvis, Beatles....

My husband and son saw Infinity Wars. My son couldn’t articulate his feelings yet...he said he enjoyed it but needed time to really figure out how he FELT about it
Gabe would fit in really well on Big Bang Theory.

I am horrible at planning to read anything, because then it feels like an obligation and I just CAN’T want to! I do have The Forgotten Girls from the library. I finished an ARC of The Lost for Words Bookshop, which I really liked, and I also finished my random kindle book...and I don’t even remember its title! Ugh! So, each of us read pretty avidly. I’ve been thinking lately about how there are so many books out there, and books that I’d be proud to have written end up as middle of the road 3 Stars...it’s a little sad to me how someone’s labor of love, time and effort end up so fleeting for me.
I could also be a little neurotic.

I’ve got this book sitting on my TBR bookcase in my room. Excited to read with my Bee friends.

I have an Erin Condren notebook I use, as well as making sure I note the days I finish books in my primary EC planner.

Rumor has it that Lisa has joined the BOTM group!

I have The Perfect Mother on my physical TBR, so I will be joining in!
I read The Wind Up Bird Chronicle a year or two ago. It was good, but I think it’s probable better as a group read.

Awesome!!! I think we could make this so fun!!!

For anyone who is thinking about Scribe, I just got an email with a coupon code for 25% off for Mother's Day! Sharing the temptation...
