You can have both! Doesn't even have to be at the same time haha. Personally I'm prioritising Slow Horses S3, but I didn't love the Dalton book like most people. I will watch the series though.

721 Anyone who enjoyed The Maid will most likely also enjoy the follow-up, The Mystery Guest.

721 I'm happy to be in the majority on Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect by AA Benjamin Stevenson - it was a hoot (a thrilling one, at that).

Yes, and now that I'm approaching the end of both, I realise they have more in common than I ever would have guessed, but it would be a huge spoiler to elaborate haha

A few times when I’ve created a book or added a new edition, it has been added to my Read shelf automatically. I always discover it reasonably quickly though.

721 I’ve had a few coincidences lately, but I thought this one deserved a mention. Quite by chance I’m reading The Mystery Guest which includes an author fan-group named the LAMBS, and Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect which includes an author fan-group named the Mongrels!

721 I've been listening to The Wiregrass by AA Adrian Hyland the past few days. It's a welcome follow-up to Canticle Creek, continuing the story of police officer Jesse Redpath.

721 Anyone else notice Affirm Press is no longer listing titles on NetGalley? I thought I'd lost my auto-approval, but it looks like they've packed up and gone home! I hope it's only temporary.

721 AA Jo Dixon's new thriller A Shadow at the Door didn't rock my socks, but it was a good holiday read.

721 I had Dervla McTiernan's The Fireground on my Audible wishlist, and this morning noticed it has switched over to FREE. (I'm only a casual Audible user, so not sure if it's the same for everyone.)

721 I finished watching the TV adaptation of Scrublands on Xmas Eve. I thought it was superb! There were only 4 episodes, so it was a pared back version of the story from the book. Really tight with a few changes here and there. And I noticed Jock Serong had a screenwriting credit, so it’s no wonder they did such a good job with it.

721 Last week I was swept away by The Eight Mountains. It's only a small book but it packed a big, emotional punch. It made me think of Claire Keegan's books in a way.
