721 I've been meaning to read AA Anna Funder's Stasiland: Stories from Behind the Berlin Wall for a few years now, and it was 100% worth the wait.

721 Thanks Diana. I’m pretty flexible, but I say the sooner the better! The 8th would be great.

721 What You Are Looking For Is in the Library is one of a slew of similar books around at the moment. I liked it though.

721 I think The Last Devil to Die is the best yet for Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club series.

721 Ooh! And a comp ticket for Michael Cunningham for putting up with those website issues. Don’t mind if I do.

The website issues really aren’t a good look for them, but finally I managed to book a couple of events. I’m also going to Ann Patchett (the one with Meg Mason, not the panel) and Shankari Chandran. The festival is a shadow of its former self, so that’s it for me this time.
721 I’m always a sucker for a bit of crossover, so one of the things I enjoyed about this book was getting to see Claire and Jamie from Nightingale back in Australia after their war experience.

It sure does, Carolyn. The cover was revealed this past week. I’ve also read somewhere that it compares well with Cloud Atlas, which excites me no end.
