That could work for me, as I know I’m definitely around that weekend.

721 I ran into Genevieve this afternoon, and we were saying how nice it would be to see everyone before the end of the year. Are people still keen? Time’s running out, but I’m sure we might still be able to manage something.
721 This week I listened to a podcast where Richard Flanagan and Michael Robotham were talking about the hidden costs of cheap books. It’s made me want to do my little bit to help Australian authors, particularly lesser known ones. So instead of asking the library to buy it, I’ve gone out this morning and paid full price for Matia, the debut novel by AA Emily Tsokos Purtill, at an independent bookshop. I’m planning to do this every month.

721 I probably wouldn't tackle AA Gabriel Bergmoser's latest, The Lodger, as a standalone, but those who have read all his adult thrillers are sure to enjoy it.

721 A new Cormac Reilly book is coming! The Unquiet Grave by Dervla McTiernan is out next year some time. (Lots of books with the same name, but I don’t think this one has been added yet)

721 Perhaps there are others who didn't know that Adeline Knight is AA Ceridwen Dovey? I'd normally judge Lonely Harts Radio by its cover and give it a miss, but in this case I'm glad I tried it.

721 With more than a nod to Enid Blyton, AA Jock Serong has let his imagination run wild with Cherrywood, and I'm all for it.

721 AA Fiona McFarlane is a great writer, but her latest novel, Highway 13, just slightly missed the mark for me in a couple of places.

Those thoughts are just as valuable as reviews, Rowan. Thank you for taking the time.
