I love the Book Genres & Bibliophilia ides very much and were similar to my first idea :-)How about Folks in Uniform
I could imagine two possibilities:
- the traditional understanding to go more in depth in the serving professions and their areas
- using the uniform term very loosely to explore a bigger variety of job titles, areas...
You'll know better what makes more sense for the group and is easier to implement.

I updated message #4 and completed 14 of the tasks which is two more than I planned and one less than I really wanted. Since I read around 30% more than I expected to I'm still more than happy with this challenge.
It was an amazing RaT - usually I'm reading that much in around one week so I'm more than glad I participated. I'm very happy I was able to stick to 2 or 3 books only at a time (most of the time I have up 10 books at one time) and was able to finish all but one book for the 16,000 challenge. In hindsight I'm regretting listening to the 3 shorter audiobooks even if they boasted my total page count for the challenge. If I read in that time I would be able to finishe the book I forgot to read two weeks ago and needed for one of the task.I updated message #7
I read another 2.75 hours. I'm still reading To Win Her Heart - I'm no more used to concentrate so long on one thing and so I'm double glad I'm still able to read this book and it's getting better with each chapter.My current total: 39.75 hours
I read another 2.5 hours around and while having a wonderful hot bath. I finished Mein Leben als Leser=The Polysyllabic Spree but still concentrated mostly on To Win Her Heart - I hope very much I'll finish it before midnight but it looks less and less likely - I'm just reading too slow/started too late.My current total is now 37 hours and already more than I was hoping for. Even if I sighned up to 24 hours I was hoping for 36 since 48 appeared too unrealistic :-)

I (finally) finished Einladung zum Mord=Reunion in Death and continued Der Report der Magd=The Handmaid's Tale again - before my library license is invalid after midnight - I'm still not finished with the book and don't expect to during this RaT - even in case I get the new license sometime tomorrow.I read another 2 hours and the current total for the first two days is 28.5 hours
I was so convinced I'll finish Einladung zum Mord=Reunion in Death by now but a friend called and he's unable to keep it under 1 hour and I still have a little more than 1 chapter to finish the book. My time for this slot is 2 hours and the current total: 26.5 hoursSince it started to rain half an hour ago I got so tired I'm no more sure I'll be able to read as long as I wish :-(
