He's written a prequel to this book titled, The Angel's Game. I listened to that a couple of quarters ago. I have The Shadow of the Wind as my Spanish stop. I just have to get through France, then it's on to Spain.

Another author I was looking at for Spain is Arturo Pérez-Reverte. He's written The Flanders Panel among other books.

Hi Jayme: See message numbers 52 and 53 in this folder for more explanation about the task. You can also post the book title here to get a specific ruling.

Basically if it has Title: A Novel, or Title: Stories, something generic like that it's okay. If it is Title: More explanation about book, then it's not okay.

For example: Soldier: The Life of Colin Powell is not acceptable.

Hi Norma:

Task 10.9 -- The 9th Judgment by James Patterson does not work for this task. The J-W combo can only be made if you use the series name. There is no "W" in the book title.

Points for this task/book combo are invalid.

Task 20.2 -- Shoot, I hate to do this, but per the taks rules, if the whole series is shown on the list as one entry, the whole series has to be read in order to claim points for the task.
"Note: Some of the Top 50 are entire series...don't pick those unless you plan on reading the entire series."

The whole "His Dark Materials" series is listed on the Listopia entry. I didn't see an entry that just listed The Golden Compass. So I can't count points for The Golden Compass since it's only one book in the trilogy.

I hope you can find another task for these books. If you do, please add a new entry when posting the points.

They both work for me. If they've married into the royal family, then I they'd be considered royalty. The Price of Wales counts since he's been born into royalty and is next in line to the throne.

Yes, as long as the author is on the list, you can read any of their books.
