Yes, that would be okay.

The 'Play' task a couple of challenges ago was my task. Liz is right for the page count for that task we just counted the actual number of pages containing the text of the play. The introductions, commentary, etc wasn't counted.

I thought so too! I listened to the audio book. I think it was a great way to experience the story. Here's a sneak peek for you ---- I chose it as my selection for the Spring Group Reads task.

Thank you! I am looking over Krista's spreadsheet. And wow. I mean, wow. She has done amazing work keeping track."

Thanks Liz --- I've probably made it more complicated than necessary. But at least it makes it easier to research how points were earned if I have to go back and figure anything out later. :-)

And please --- let me add my warm "Welcome to the Moderator Panel". I know I welcomed you in a private email, but I think a public welcome is in order too! I'm really looking forward to having some help on the scorekeeping, and help in answering questions as they arise. This is such a fun group!

Okay, back to my spreadsheet now....

36119 Guess it's lucky all of us that this it didn't require 11 syllables. Then the shoes and socks would have had to come off. :-)
Feb 24, 2011 07:44AM

36119 Yes, we've had the rule that you could start 1 book before the actual start date of the challenge.

You can read up to 1/2 of the book before the challenge begins.

Wow, I ddin't know there was a syllable counter. (I don't know why that should surprise me.) Glad to know that the good ol' fingers and lots of talking outloud to myself work too. :-)

Can you earn both bonuses with one book?

Autobiography would fall under 15.9 Memoir.

Yes, you can earn both bonuses for one book if the book was published before 1980, and was more than 500 pages long.
