Oh thanks Cat. I went by the score listed in the first comment of the match.
I thought Sophie caught the snitch first, but you're right! We'll have to wait for the final verdict

It most definitely was!

35559 **MATCH 1 QUIDDITCH PLAYERS**

A HUGE round of applause to our Quidditch players for an inspiring game: Keeper Talia and Beater Amanda!

We won our match against Ravenclaw (10/8) and Sophie (from team Pomona Sprout) caught the snitch!

35559 **JULY B.O.M.**

For July, there are 3 books of the months:

Mod takeover: Rosemary and Rue (October Daye, #1) by Seanan McGuire
Link to Rosemary and Rue, by Seanan McGuire (October Daye #1)
Start: July 2

**Every now and again the mods take over a Book of the Month. We used to do it for our birthday months, but then we went from 3 BOMs each month to 2, so we haven't done it in a while.

We thought the last month of Tower Teams would be the perfect opportunity to have a third BOM! **

And both my suggestions for Y.A thriller and adult fictions won (YAY!):

I Hunt Killers (Jasper Dent, #1) by Barry Lyga Link to I Hunt Killers, by Barry Lyga
Start: July 12

The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris Link to The Tattooist of Auschwitz, by Heather Morris
Start: July 22

I'm going to participate in all three. I've signed up to I Hunt Killers and The Tattooist for DQ. I might for Rosemary and Rue

Awesome news!! :D
35559 Damn.. I'm up to chapter 3. I think it's a captivating way to begin the book. But also heavy. I think I will read one part each day and then comment on it.

(view spoiler)
35559 I'm definitely in! I also nominate myself for DQ for anytime

Like the writing style so far. Still a bit confused on what's happening but I'm sure it will become clearer."

It all makes sense towards the end of the book!
35559 What do you all think about Taylor's dreams?

35559 I vote House or hybrid too!
35559 I think you'll definitely like The Piper's Son

Looking for Alibrandi was good as well.

There's another book being released this year - The House That Seb Built. Not sure which month though
35559 So, this is my 4th or 5th time reading this book. The last time I read it was in 2012 when I was in my last year of high school. I wanted to re-read this to see if my thoughts have matured about this book.

I've listened to about 50% of this book so far with an audiobook and I'm probably going to read the second half tomorrow.

35559 Oh yes, I loved the Lumatere Chronicles! Such a pleasant read. Actually, I've loved all her books really.
