Chapter 1 and 2

(view spoiler)[So far, so good. I find that I'm comparing what I'm reading to what I remember of the movie. I don't remember her sisters. I do remember the walking stick quite well. I like Sophie young and old and do think being old has given more courage or just lessened her worries (hide spoiler)]

I'm quite liking it so far. I've got up to chapter 90 - about 3/4 of the book. For me, I haven't read something like this before.

(view spoiler)[It does address a touchy subject. I think Leigh's dad should have been more open with Leigh about how her mum's health is. Her mum should have been open about it as well but I understand that that is not easy.
I'm hoping she gets with Axel, I think she will.
I do like seeing how Leigh and her grandparents are with each other. The flash backs are done well. I like seeing how the flashbacks come about (incense) and hearing about her family's traditions and beliefs. (hide spoiler)]

I've just realised Teri, that we can't use Stillhouse Lake and Killman's Creek for the Water-making charm.
If we use Stillhouse Lake, we will need a book cover where a boat is not on water.
If we use Killman's Creek, we will need a book cover with a house surrounded by water. I think we'll have more luck find a book cover for Killman's Creek

Thanks Heather but I've put Teri's Sunset book in as the vampire dark art. We do need your book to be used for an 'E' in spells. I think it's hard to come by books with 'E'

Good points Elena! (view spoiler)[People usually train for years to get to a good level. He did have quite a few people training him. I think other Scythes are trained as Citra is. One Scythe for one apprentice. Rowan had three or four.
And yes! AI is good so far. The second book is called Thunderhead so maybe we will see something happen there. (hide spoiler)]
