No, we have Amanda's pink book. We need yellow and turquoise in covers/titles/series

..."
We all need a break! I spent Monday evening watching Shadowhunters - the TV series adaption of the Mortal Instruments whilst painting my nails... It's not that good.
That would be great Brooklyn! I haven't even touched the book I put in for the hardcover and I have to return it to the library. It was due June 15... oops. So, we'll use Red Rising for that.

We do need two brown books with 500+ pages.
Is anyone keen?

You lost your bet against your husband Halli! D:
Do you think you'll finish reading it? You could set aside the book for now. I'm struggling with All the Crooked Saints. For some reason, when I read a few pages, I get sleepy and struggle not to have a nap.

I've been miserably slow in reading books the past week.
I'm enjoying it so far. The start was gripping.

I've fixed up the book in relevant places Amanda! Thanks!
Teri - there's no rush in finishing the books!
I just wanted to have our classes organised soon so that we can use July to try and finish all the classes... then maybe spells. We get more points when finishing a class compared to a spell.

I get what you mean Kate. I find it difficult to connect to teens in America and UK sometimes as I am Australian woman..."

I know reading books on my own, I just skip over somethings and don't take time to understand those things. So, I'm glad I've joined so many buddy reads because I feel like it helps me understand more about the book when discussing it with you guys!
Oh definitely! I've learnt quite a bit about current young adult American culture having read quite a few books. I'm learning about how each of America's states can be totally different. Even foods. Waffles aren't that big in Australia, but I think they are in America

I don't think it helps that the parts in italics are a part of the past and we don't read them in order.
Erin and Kate - I definitely agree that Taylor is a bit hard to like/understand at the start.
Do you all think that as it's based in Australia and in the outback Australia, it's a bit hard for you to connect?

I was struggling a bit at the start (seems like I am with all my books recently). But the mention of pee slippers... I can't handle it. I have toilet humour so I think Allan and I will get along just fine.
I'll read a bit more before I go to bed and post when I wake up
I think this would be a great audiobook.
I noticed there's no quotation marks when they're speaking. Why do you guys think it is like that?

Thru Chpt 11 - So I thought Sophie really took it well bei..."
A pair of those boots would do me good! I'l always late and upsetting friends. That would be useful
I didn't make the connection to Wizard of Oz but I see it now!
