I've just started the Stephen Fry audiobook for this. I love the Quidditch cup scene! I can't wait to get to it.

There's a buddy read for the second book in July - Grey Sister
And yes, we still need two 'U'. So, if you read Until Forever Comes, we will still need another 'U'.

Karishma - I added your Iron and Magic book into the spreadsheets

Brooklyn - I'm about 75% through the book. I've put it on hold for my buddy read partners to catch up a bit so we can discuss it. I should be done soon! I should be done with Prisoner of Azkaban tonight as well and put it in classes

If we can find a replacement for my chick-lit book for Herbology, that would help me heaps!

I agree Elen. The end was much better. I actually liked the battle between mother and daughter.

I've managed to listen up to chapter 9. I love noticing what the book has but the movie does not have in it. Like, in the train ride to hogwarts when (view spoiler)[ the dementors attack, Neville and Ginny are in the carriage with the trio and Lupin, but they aren't in the movie. (hide spoiler)]

This is my favourite book of all the series. (view spoiler)[I think it's because for once, Harry isn't facing Voldemort. He also gains a family member and it's special and precious to Harry (hide spoiler)]

I finished my book for Care of Magical Creatures so we've now mastered that class!

I've managed to read up to pg 26, Chapter 14.
So far I'm liking it. I've notice that the sirens language is actually Greek. And a lot of the land names are Greek as well. Psemata means lies, Kleftes means thieves...

Claire - I'm liking the Prince's and Lira's attitudes as well. But I do agree with Heli about the writing style. At some points my attention wavers.

The re-telling is quite interesting! For one, we have sirens, not mermaids and I think Christo mase the mermaids her own. Especially the mermen. I am enjoying the plot so far! I'm going to try and finish it within the next three hours

So, I finished the book. Finally!

I can see why this is a re-read for some of us here! The characters snuck their way into my heart.

Kaz - (view spoiler)[the eyeball scene - I did not see that coming and was actually a bit disgusted to read that! I love the moments we see him being a brilliant crook but I sort of appreciate the ruthless moments. We see him live up to his name (hide spoiler)]

Inej and Nina - These two girls are close to my heart. I like who they've become considering their pasts.

Mattias - He definitely grew on me. I'm happy with how he turned out (view spoiler)[ he and Nina (hide spoiler)]

Jesper and Wylan - I want more. I feel like we see more of Jesper than Wylan in the book. I hope in Crooked Kingdom we get more of these two!

@Stacey - I agree with you about the flashbacks! I actually like seeing who they were and how some of them met before the joined up together. And Kaz's past is harsh, (view spoiler)[he with his brother. That is a nightmare (hide spoiler)]

I agree Ingrid! This book put me in a slump for a week. I just wanted to finish it to read my other books for B.R. but it was so hard to get in to! I think I only really got into it 2/3 in the book

I don't think I kept track of all the family members let alone 'pilgrims', or gave them much thought.

Reading this felt a bit like the tone in the Raven Cycle series.

But, I also felt like it was trying to hard.
