Thanks Angie! Your list is looking great so far!
@ Beth, Suzanne, Lauri and Leslie - I've added your botms to the BOTM tab in the spreadsheet. You can keep track of your participation there :)
Suzanne wrote: "Oh thanks for the heads up on the July books - that often makes them more possible to get!Quidditch was fun. The Team which Shall not be Named won - I think a big difference was we had a lot of 3..."
That's a positive sign!
Maybe the game went smoother as there were veteran players! And yeah, that week was exhausting. The shorter time frame would be much more manageable for everyone which is a good thing
I'm guessing two more teams need to be set up before round 2 happens
So guys, when team challenges start I try to read as many BOTMs.We have June's up. Trinia and I have nominated to write DQs for Five Feet Apart
Sharon has nominated to write DQ for The Jetsetters
The poll for July's BOTM has finished and Dear Martin and The Sun Down Motel won with the most votes. Luckily my library has both so I'll read for them

Was it as good as TT or a bit smoother? Also, who won? :P

So adorable! I've seen a few videos of people finding pets on their road trips and then adopting them. They show the cat or dog just having a ball watching the scenery and enjoying time outside the car. Things like that make me think animals are just too special

I know! I haven't actually met someone who's in my field here until you! I had a unit in Epidemiology which I found actually interesting. I'm sure your knowledge has been useful the past few months. I wish I studied last semester instead of at the start of my degree. It would have been useful to understand the topics and apply it.
I'm looking to work in health promotion, nutrition, women's health and domestic violence in particular. Hopefully as a project officer or in research somehow

They sound like great trips! I'm yet to drive to a state in Aus. But I plan on it! I think going to Tassie would be my first road trip as this time I'll have my license so I can actually drive haha
What's your favourite and most memorable trip so far?
Suzanne wrote: "I haven't taken a pet on a long road trip yet, but next summer we hope to take the truck, camping trailer, and giant dog and drive across the United States. My husband will be riding his bicycle a ..."That sounds nice! What would you see on that trip? Any specific landmarks?
I haven't been to the US yet. I'm planning on going in a decade or so. I'm wanting to see Europe and Asia first
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "Captains, just a quick question about the tags. I'm a bit confused... is it the genre on the first page or the first page of the Top Shelves? If you could clear that up it would be great."That's a good question. They rule says "Genres must match exactly (though plural/singular is OK); there is no minimum number of tags required."
I had a look at the tags we have and 'tiger' are not a MPG or a popular tag. So they're often not on the first page. I'm sure they're just referring to a tag on any of the tag pages.
The actual tasks have MPG
We can get a confirmation though, and let you know!
Nothing makes me happier than hearing stories and seeing photos of peoples pets. Any of you guys willing to share?Have any of you taken a pet on a road trip before? What was it like? I'm yet to do so

How are you finding your masters Jodie? Are you majoring in anything or is it just research projects your working on?
Hi everyone! I'm Tina, the last of the captain team checking in!I'm 26 years awesome living in Melbourne Australia. So you have captains in different time zones so hopefully one of us will be able to answer your questions quickly. I've been apart of many challenges in the past few years which is how I've got to meet some of you guys!
I'm working as a receptionist for a medical centre which has just quietened down now. I've just finished my Masters in Public Health so hopefully I can find a job in my field without much hassle. The job market is shifting with a high need for jobs in one area and a low amount of jobs in another area.
I have a rabbit named Athena (feisty little thing) and a french bulldog (loud little thing) whom I co-parents with my parents and siblings. It's been 3 years and now they're finally learning the limit and tolerances of the other animal. Meaning, my dog has learnt that my rabbit won't chase her around or bark or play with her haha
I'm trying to get myself to read any genre and be open minded about it. It's a slow process. This year I've been into new adult and fantasy for some reason

It is honestly hard to figure out what how many books you'll be reading. There's so many factors that can make you read more or inhibit you form reading at all! It's like I have to predict what my life will be like and go from there
