Ohh I knowww. I want to know how it ends but I think I'm secretly keeping it for TT. And I think I'm also wary of it possible not having a good ending to the series. That feeling of disappointment is hard to get over. I felt it with the Sookie Stakehouse series and am still annoyed with it haha. Just way too many books.

I understand why you wouldn't! The second was better, the 3rd and 3.5 were ok.

I've been waiting to read the last Throne of Glass to fit in with one of these challenges haha. Page count, cover colour etc.
35559 I volunteer for backup DQ for Motorcycle Diaries
I'm kinda surprised my library actually has this. For some reason they never have the adult botm books but always have the young adult botm
35559 I volunteer for DQ for Motorcycle Diaries!

Honestly, I'm still thinking about Court of Mist and Fury and it's been a while since I read that and the other 3 ACOTAR. I have noticed more books written like them though

Ooh that's a lot of recs Lauri!
I've been meaning to read quite a few of your 5 stars! I don't have as many

What are your criteria for a book to get 5 stars? (question to everyone else as well). What are your rating systems?

Oh that's great news Lauri! Just in time as well. I could not check out that many books as long as I have pets. I'd feel horrible returning a book with chew marks on the pages. You really have to hide things for pets not to get to them

My library opened up June 1st but I actually didn't know till now. We have 30 minutes to go in and get what we want and leave. We don't have to book in a session which is nice! :P

I'll try and make time to go when I figure out what books I want to read for Wheel

35559 @ Beth, Suzanne, Lauri and Leslie - I've added your botms to the BOTM tab in the spreadsheet. You can keep track of your participation there :)

That's a positive sign!
Maybe the game went smoother as there were veteran players! And yeah, that week was exhausting. The shorter time frame would be much more manageable for everyone which is a good thing

I'm guessing two more teams need to be set up before round 2 happens

35559 So guys, when team challenges start I try to read as many BOTMs.

We have June's up. Trinia and I have nominated to write DQs for Five Feet Apart
Sharon has nominated to write DQ for The Jetsetters

The poll for July's BOTM has finished and Dear Martin and The Sun Down Motel won with the most votes. Luckily my library has both so I'll read for them

How was quidditch?! I was following it for a bit and then had quite a lot of family time. Was it as good as TT or a bit smoother? Also, who won? :P

So adorable! I've seen a few videos of people finding pets on their road trips and then adopting them. They show the cat or dog just having a ball watching the scenery and enjoying time outside the car. Things like that make me think animals are just too special

I know! I haven't actually met someone who's in my field here until you! I had a unit in Epidemiology which I found actually interesting. I'm sure your knowledge has been useful the past few months. I wish I studied last semester instead of at the start of my degree. It would have been useful to understand the topics and apply it.

I'm looking to work in health promotion, nutrition, women's health and domestic violence in particular. Hopefully as a project officer or in research somehow

Bahaha yes

They sound like great trips! I'm yet to drive to a state in Aus. But I plan on it! I think going to Tassie would be my first road trip as this time I'll have my license so I can actually drive haha

What's your favourite and most memorable trip so far?

That sounds nice! What would you see on that trip? Any specific landmarks?

I haven't been to the US yet. I'm planning on going in a decade or so. I'm wanting to see Europe and Asia first

35559 Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "Captains, just a quick question about the tags. I'm a bit confused... is it the genre on the first page or the first page of the Top Shelves? If you could clear that up it would be great."

That's a good question. They rule says "Genres must match exactly (though plural/singular is OK); there is no minimum number of tags required."

I had a look at the tags we have and 'tiger' are not a MPG or a popular tag. So they're often not on the first page. I'm sure they're just referring to a tag on any of the tag pages.

The actual tasks have MPG

We can get a confirmation though, and let you know!

How are you finding your masters Jodie? Are you majoring in anything or is it just research projects your working on?
