I started with yesterday. Totally unexpectedly. About 50 pages in and looks to be ok so far..

So, Leslie the romance is developed in the next few books?

I just finished . It was good but didn't captivate me. I liked Gin - she was really kick-ass. Since it was a first person PoV, I didn't quite get a good feel for Donovan, the cop and I assume, the love interest. I'm really curious about her past so I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the series.

Our total book count now is 137. Which means we have read 18 books within a space of 2 days. What an awesome work by all of us! We rock!! Aaand we are tied with Wild Blue Yonder, Leather Jacket Black for the FIRST place. Great job, Team Moonstone!

On to Read-a-Thon stuff:

We have 5 points in our bag for suggesting a mini-challenge. Apart from that we get 50 points when all of us a) reach our Page Goal b) read a Theme and c) read a Cover representing the Color of our team to a total of 150 points.

Remember, the winner gets a 4 book advantage on the team's total.

So if all of us can read books counting towards the theme and the color, then we get a 100 points.

Melissa, just checked my book lost. To read book #5, you have to read the two Night huntress world books (sorry, my bad) as the book #5 spoils the events happened in those books. It was not mentioned in the book blurb which I didn't appreciate it at all.

Yeah, they were like book crack. Totally how I felt. It was actually a RRRC PIFM rec so that was my crack series that month.

Yeah, I love how wacky they are. Have you read her ? I think she's brave in attempting to write one. Former rich high school bully comes back poor. I should re-read it sometime.

The reason I stopped it was this: I was gobbling the series books continuously. Then when I hit book 4/5 (can't remember which), it was like I was thrown in the middle of some other series. So many things had happened and I was bewildered. I then realised those happened in the first Night Hunter world book. I got irritated. I probably should go back but I can't work up the motivation.

Yeah, I have read most of SEP. I keep think I shouldn't do re-reads; that I have enough books to read but somehow I always end up re-reading something or the other. I'm so loving - can't wait for Alex to stop being a jerk and Daisy's transformation.

Leslie, there seem to be short stories before the first book. Should all those be read? I fear my OCD might come out then.

I went to the library and I found a brand new copy of . It was so tempting that I just finished reading it. Love SEP!

Also finished - A book about a boy born with facial deformity and his middle school life. It was lovely. I really loved all the MC. The author captured the PoV of Olivia, elder sister of August, the hero very well.

I stopped reading the Cat &Bones at about 4 or 5. Right about when she had the night hunter novels. Sadly, I think I've given up on that series.

Leslie, based on your posts, I *think* you *like* The Elemental Assasin series? Starting with . The library had new copies and I was reminded of you. I picked it up hopefully to start tomorrow.
