Love the first pick and you can sure dream of the second :PDo pick the JoJo Mayes book - I really loved it!
Thanks for the update, Rebecca! I'll definitely let you know.Leslie - I can't believe you'd let the fine pileup. I'm OCD enough that if I know the return date is tomorrow, I'll be planning to either renew or return asap. I can't stand a
Rebecca - If you are reading in a e-book reader/iPad, near the last few days, just switch off Wifi/3G and change the date to a previous day or 2 days before. The library system will definitely take you off the hook but your e-reader/iPad will be under the misconception that it still has time. I'm not sure how effective this is as I haven't tried before but it looks like it might work.
I finished 3 books today:
,
and
.I think the either of the first two could qualify for the white cover? LoS was an impulsive re-read. I was browsing my library's digital catalogue when I saw it was just returned. Man, I enjoyed it the same this time around. Jessica Trent is an awesome heroine. And my favorite. I really like Sebastian Dain but Jessica just stole the show completely. The author did a great job with this book.
Published by Harlequin Mills & BoonThe individual stores inside were published in 1980s I suppose
Portraits Of Passion @ 2009 by Harlequin Books S.A. --> Would this be the publication date?
Wow! Great collection for just $5! I'm so jealous. @Leslie - this series is awesome. Just try it out :)
Lisa Kay - I need a favor. I got a Nora Roberts Book from the library named Portraits of Passion but GR doesn't have a entry listed. Here's a link I found for the book (Amazon didn't have it)Book Link and this is the only book cover that I was able to find.
THe ISBN I have is 978-073359461-8. ETA: Page count is 315.
Could you help me out to add an entry in GR?
Good Morning Team!Oooh, that looks wonderful, Leslie. I can just lie there all day with some chocolate..
I stayed off GR (so proud of it) today so that I can finish
. This is the 3rd book in the series and each books are soo dense and it requires effort to read it. At the end of the each book, I realize it's worth it. So far, this book is my favorite. I'm really loving Erikson's world - it's so complicated but so absolutely detailed. And a happy dance because I finished 1180 pages. It's bed time for me (mostly)
Kristin - which do you prefer - iPad or Kindle? I use iPad if I'm reading those doorstoppers. It's very easy if I want to refer to the map (and they ALWAYS have one). Otherwise it's my Sony for me.
