35559 Leslie, commenting from my phone so couldn't see your spoiler.
35559 I take back my comment about Lily being Mary Sue. I'm feeling so bad for her. I know Neville is feeling the awkwardness too but I wih they'd talk openly.

I didn't get why Neville didn't inform anybody of his marriage. Totally couldn't understand the reason.

Reg Lauren: man, that girl is very controlled that it's so weird and scary.

I think I'm somewhere around Chapter 11 but I'm going to call it a night now. The major minor annoyance I have now is for them to talk openly about everything. It would help a looot.

35559 @Lisa Kay : I do have a few nags after the book

35559 Re: Neville - He seems so ... pompous? His words and the prose of the book? I can't pinpoint anything specific. I don't feel connected to either of them yet. I did notice Lily has all the makings of Mary-Sue. ;)

35559 I finished Last Night's Scandal (Carsington Brothers #5) by Loretta Chase yesterday. Loved it! I can't believe I kept putting it off for so long. Initially, I thought it might be weird reading grown up Olivia & Lisle but it so totally wasn't. It was a great read.
35559 I was supposed to start this yesterday evening so that it'll be the same time as you US ladies but I was sidetracked by Last Night's Scandal (Carsington Brothers #5) by Loretta Chase . I'm starting it now. Looking forward to it. :)
35559 *Stepping out of the vortex* Teresa, thanks for the link. *Stepping back now with Hubby glaring*
35559 Teresa, is that so? What is the address of the site?
35559 Checking in and ready to go as well. Downloading the book now.

35559 I just finished re-reading The Temporary Wife by Mary Balogh & Lord Perfect (Carsington Brothers, #3) by Loretta Chase . The first book will work for the Zombie Challenge (author starting with M).

It was great re-reading the two books and Lord Perfect is one of my favorites. I loved Loretta Chase after reading that book. And I'm out of my slump! Yay!

35559 Leslie, you are not good for me. I would want to try the cinnamon bun but I don't like cinnamon flavor that much. But it looks so tempting.

I'm so behind in my updates. Being inherently lazy, I'll just say I finished Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu - A Middle-Grade book for another. THis book used to be just up my avenue but lately the last few books haven't really interested me. I'm thinking this book might just be too young for me.
35559 OK, Thanks LK! Good to know before I committed.
35559 LK - a question. The BR need not necessarily be done within our team or group, does it? I have 2 BR that I'll be doing in other groups. Will that count?

35559 Good Morning, Team!

Sorry, I've been MIA - guests descended in the house. I managed to read only TWO books so far. Not looking good. And I don't think I can get any done tomorrow either.

35559 Ok, I have to ask - what's the tourist thing with black sweater and beignets? (For that matter, I don't know what a beignet is.. I assume it's kind of a pastry?)

35559 I love that chart too! It's insane what you can find in the internet. Look how detailed it is.

WHEN: Wednesday May 15th - Friday May 31st

WHAT: It's Zombie Awareness Month. Start reading before that Zombie Apocalypse hits us!

HOW:
1. Read a book that is shelved as "Paranormal" by atleast 10 people (I'll accept sub-genres like Paranormal-Romance) OR
2. Read a book whose author name (First OR Last) or title starts with letters in ZOMBIE. You may ignore the articles (A, AN, THE) if you want to.
3. Book should be finished between May 15 and 31 and meet the Tower Team Challenge requirements i.e page count >160
4. Participants in this month-long challenge, please post the book with the page count in the thread. If it ties in with any mini-challenge, it has to be stated explicitly. (It makes work easier for us mods)

Happy Reading!

*Remember, books that meet the mini-challenge and the monthly will win you an extra BONUS point.

35559 Thanks for the clarification, Rebecca!

Aaargghh, I'm in a sort of slump now. I have started V for Vendetta by Alan Moore & The Summer Tree (The Fionavar Tapestry, #1) by Guy Gavriel Kay but I'm not into both of them now. I haven't gotten any reading done actually.
35559 I tried the USA and walked off. I don't know the shapes that much.

I tried the 35 piece Jig zone and that was ok. I did in 4:41. I need to invest in a mouse (or so I tell myself)
