Team Maximus:
OK, so I've finished
Law Man, 508 pages.
"Read a book where a character gets a manicure or pedicure". Billie, the little girl, gets one with her adopted Mom.

I'm reading
Law Man, where the heroine and her little girl get mani-pedis. If we need it. It's also over 500 pages, if that makes a difference.

Novellas usually..."Technically it's all about word count. Lots of the collection you see with, say, four-five different author's stories on one theme, are actually novellas, not short stories. That's why I wondered how they were defining it.
ETA- But I wonder about a lot of things that don't really matter, so this can be one of them. :)

I have a couple of book with epilogues that I've started, but I can't guarantee to finish them in the next day or two, it just depends. So if someone else can finish one sooner, they should go ahead. Otherwise, I will finish them eventually. :)

I didn't record if my books had them, so let me check...

Do you think they differentiate between short stories and novellas? I'd be happy to take that goal, but I don't want to get caught reading a book that doesn't fit.

Team Maximus:
I've finished
All Hallows' Evil. Added info is a pet python named Julius Squeezer. Not for a goal as far as I know. :)

Thanks. Mary Russel meets Pirates of Penzance is bound to be a winner for me!
I'm off the computer for a while. TTYL, folks. :)

Team Maximus:
Pirate King has shown up from the library and I really want to read it - even if it doesn't fit a goal. lol
So here's the info on it: 300 pp; by Laurie R. King; letters in title= 10; page #s= 3; first pub Sept. 6, 2011; #Chap. 41, Sections 3; orange, man, sword on cover; genre mystery, fiction, crime, adventure, thriller, suspense, adult; Char. names Mary Russell, Sherlock Holmes, Rae, Allen, Mycroft; Setting Washington state, Lisbon, Portugal; Series #11
Great reading, everybody. And my hat's off to the mods, who are doing a wonderful job keeping track of everything. :)

I've finished
for
book with an orange cover. 295 pp
Team Maximus

I have
North to the Orient which I was saving till after I finished her diary of the same period. It will be a quick read that will work for "N", also and I cans tart it today.

Thanks for taking care of it, Carmen.

Thanks.
I'm reading
, which I think should work for an orange cover, don't you? It has 295 pages and 64736 words.
ETA - I looked at the book I'm reading and thought "That's not right". I had the cover wrong, so I've changed it to match what I'm reading. The orange and blue one is not the one I'm actually reading. Sorry. Time for bed... :)

I've finished for Team Maximus:
334 pages, for
goal of a horse on the cover if we still need it.
219 pp; By Betty Neels; Letters in title= 14; page #s= 12; First pub April 1, 1983; #Chap. 9; On cover bridge, water, boats, blue; Genre fiction; Char. names Jemima, Alexander; Setting England & Scotland; Pet Coco

Just saw "pages that add up to 12". I'm reading
A Dream Came True with 219 pages. I'll have it finished in a couple of hours. Or less. :)

I like historical fiction and have several books with horses on the front, if someone wants to put me down for that goal. I'm still deciding which I want to read first...
I don't see myself finding a book with a number in the title etc. I suggest a boon if no one comes up with one.

And now I've finished
Jeeves and the Tie That Binds which has
genre classics.

Oh, sorry. #72 on the Amazon 2002 list.

I've finished
In This Mountain for the
Amazon 2002 Bestseller list if we still need it. lol It's getting really hard to keep up.

If I said that it was my mistake. I probably meant the 2002 list, which I am reading for. I don't see anything of the 2009 list for me. (Well, there are a couple I'd be happy to read but they're on hold so they won't work now.)
I've added another list to keep track of - which book I'm reading for which goal. lol
