Thanks. I also found this link, useful but not for Q. http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/name...
There has to be a dog named Queenie somewhere. I'll spend some time looking. :)

I'll check back in tomorrow morning and see where we are with our goals. Good job, everybody!

Sounds like a plan. :)

OH! I liked that book. And the next one. I have The Republic of Thieves on hold with OverDrive right now. I especially liked the audio versions.

I'm also reading Ring in a Teacup 192 pp; by Betty Neels; letters in title= 13; page #s= 12; first pub April 1979; #Chap. 9; brown, tea cup on cover ; genre romance; Char. names Lucy, Fraam, Shirley, Jaap, Bantje; Setting Holland & England; pets Daisy, Shep, Tibby; woman gave birth to twins
I needed a teacup on the cover for another challenge.

Team Maximus

I finished Rock Chick Rescue 500 pages. With a dog named Chowleena if we still need pet name starts with C.

I've finished The Golden Ball And Other Stories. It had two narrators, ghosts human and cat, a dog named Terry, and some murdered people. :)
320 pp; by Agatha Christie; letters in title= 28; page #s= 5; first pub 1971; #Chap. 15; car on cover; genres mystery, thriller, classics, short story, detective; Setting England.

I've been wanting to reread

Hooray! It just worried me, sitting there so lonely. :) Excellent job, Catherine.

If no one comes up with a pet beginning with N I really think we should use a boon. It's been there for a while already. I thought of Nana in Peter Pan, but I'm not all that interested in reading it, myself. :)

I need to make one change; though I used the GR record for setting, and the book actually takes place in Portugal and Morocco. There's no Washington state in it anywhere. (I've fixed the record.) Additional character names: Annie, Bonnie, Selsete, Doris, Edith, Fannie, Ginger, Harriet, Isabel, June, Kate, Linda, Will Harold, Vincent, Sherlock and Mary. Also a parrot named Rosie.
