We've had "pet starting with N before". I'm beginning to feel like Piglet sweeping up the leaves outside his house. As soon as they're gone more blow in. :)
ETA - OOPs, my page didn't refresh. I see we have purple taken care of. Good job!

ETA - I didn't want to confuse the issue if you'd already found something.

I've finished Touch Not the Cat, 302 pages, by Mary Stewart, for author who died in 2014. I remember first reading this when it came out - serialized in a ladies' magazine of the time. In 1976! That's a real blast from the past. :)

Countdown clock here: https://countingdownto.com/countdown/...

I'm about 1/2 way through author who died last year, so that shouldn't be too much longer. Then I'll look at the other two goals Tea mentioned. :)
I realized I forgot to write that False Colours has identical twins in it. In case that comes up again.

Do we have any open goals, other than possibly the minion one? Or any where someone has to finish one book before they can get to another?
Otherwise I'll just keep reading what I've got for now.

I always take my kindle to the hair salon, so I've almost finished False Colours, 341 pp; by Georgette Heyer; letters in title= 12; page #s= 8; first pub 1963; #Chap. 22; people on cover; genre classics, historical fiction, romance; Char. names Cosmo, Kit, Evelyn, Patience, Amelia; Setting England
I didn't find "the magician" in any books I'm currently reading.
ETA: I'm also almost done listening to:
Joy in the Morning 272 pp; by P. G. Wodehouse; letters in title= 15; page #s= 11; first pub 1946; #Chap. 27, 3 parts; Bicycle, people, lake on cover; genres humor, classics, historical, fiction; Char. names Jeeves, Bertie, Reggie, Stilton, Agatha, Cyril, Florence; Setting England; Series #8

Tomorrow I can start Touch Not the Cat by Mary Stewart, who died in 2014. It's in my TBR pile in the sewing room. :)

I also have several books with The whole nine yards in them. If you need to, feel free to put me down for one. I just don't know which I'll end up reading first. :)

Off to do some reading. ;)

I've finished Heidelberg Wedding. Not for current goal.

I found a book with 79 chapters, but my gosh, it's quite huge. The Historian. I'll keep looking if maybe I find something that ..."
Too bad you can't find one of those where the chapters are only a couple of pages long. I usually hate those books because they jump around a lot, and I can't seem to find any right now... Of course, we could use a boon if it's going to take forever to get that goal read.

Read a book whose author died this year"
Do you thing that means in 2015, or in the last 12 months?
ETA - Maybe it doesn't matter. lol Terry Pratchett died in 2015, and I'm always up for one of his books. Let me go see what's available on OD...

I've finished Finger Lickin' Fifteen for goal 1.
I've started Heidelberg Wedding 185 pp; by Betty Neels; letters in title= 17; page #s= 185; first pub Feb 1, 1985; #Chap. 9; Bridge, river on cover; genre romance, contemporary; Char. names Eugenia, Gerald, Hatty, Bruce, Miriam; Setting Heidelberg, Germany & England; pet named Plum; the heroine has twin siblings.

I've finished:
The Deeds of the Disturber, with an eye on the cover but we don't need that anymore. lol It does have Muslims, Pagans and Christians for two people with different religions interact.
I've finished Motorcycle Man 489 pp; by Kristen Ashley; letters in title= 13; page #s= 21; first pub May 22, 2012; #Chap. 31 + prologue & epilogue; man's face on cover; genre romantic suspense; Char. names Tyra, Cane, Rush; Setting Colorado, US; Series #4
I found Finger Lickin' Fifteen on audio, too, so I've been listening when I can't read. :) It should be done pretty soon.

I tell myself that, but have been known to regret it later. lol
