Did somebody already read Magic Burns? It has "arbalest" in it. I'm not on my computer so I can't pull up the quote, though.

I'm reading Sisterchicks Down Under for another challenge. Since we don't need it for the pink cover we can use it for "author's name starts with G".

I have a question about the mini-challenge. If we find the exact word, does it matter how it's used? IOW, can "bombard" be a verb? Can Francisa be someone's name? Or do they have to be used correctly?

I've finished The Thin Man, 201 pages, for the goal where the pages add up to 3.

I'll check back in a bit and if we don't still need it for that goal I'll add all the other info.

Am also reading "book beginning with V".

I have tons of books that add up to 4, but just a few three. I can read The Thin Man, 201 pages. It's been years so I'll be glad to revisit it. :)

I've finished Georgia Sweethearts, 224 pages, for finalist in Eurovision song contest. Georgia was towards the end of the list, but GR is acting up for me and I can't find the page I need to get the exact #. Sorry.

I also finished Cast of Characters: Common People in the Hands of an Uncommon God, 226 pages, for genre spiritual.

I need to read for another challenge. Is it pink enough? It will probably be a few days till I get to it, if someone else is quicker.

ETA - just saw the earlier post. Looks like we'll be able to cover this goal, whoever gets there first. :)

I can read a book for a country listed as one of the 27 finalists in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. And I've started one with bicycle on the cover. If no one beats me to them. :)

Elizabeth Peters is a pen name of Barbara Mertz. She also writes as Barbara Michaels. So if Tomb of the Golden Bird is still available it will work.

Awesome! I'd never have read Kate Daniels or Amelia P without recommendations from others. And I'd love to blame the challenge for how fast I've gone through those series, but the truth is I try to limit myself to one or two books from each series a month so they'll last longer. But it doesn't always work. lol

I can resist potato chips, but I'm not so good at resisting a good book.

I just discovered Kate Daniels about a year ago. I was so sorry when I got caught up on the series. :) It's a pain to have to wait for the next book.

I've also finished the Amelia Peabody's and only have a couple Mary Russell books to go. I need some more great series to read. :(
