OMG this book is so long and violent! Parts of it I'm enjoying, others not so much.

I'm so sorry it's been so long since I've commented - are you still reading it Leah or have you finished? I was playing quidditch and then went away for a short trip. I have been reading the book and here are some of my thoughts...

Chapters 16-23
Yes, it was horrible (view spoiler)[ what the girls went through and what Eddard had to do. I'm really disliking the Lannister family!

I was so happy Bran lived and awoke - it will be interesting to see what he does in the future without the use of his legs.

I was so surprised the Catelyn left her kids, even to get revenge!

I liked how Jon is showing leadership and getting some of the other boys behind him. And yes, his relationship with Tyrion is interesting! (hide spoiler)]

So overall I enjoyed the book. At times it was depressing because of Michelle's issues. I felt so bad for Michelle (view spoiler)[when she found out Demaris was stealing from her, and how cold Demaris was about the whole thing! (hide spoiler)]

I really liked Jared and (view spoiler)[ first I was happy when he got Chance for Michelle (although I cringed when she was giving the dog rib bones - that's an express ticket to the vet emergency hospital!), and then when they finally got together. (hide spoiler)]

Hi Newts! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Happy Canada Day, Laura!! I had fun in Seattle - it was a quick trip but it was great to see my sister. We saw the play Hairspray last night which was fun. It feels like I've been gone longer than I was!

Sorry I haven't been around much - quidditch was intense! I'm leaving in the morning for a quick trip to Seattle - just overnight, but I won't have my computer with me.
