I'm just getting started and yes, (view spoiler)[ I don't know why everyone keeps things from Harry. It sounds like Ron and Hermione know what's going on, so why they keep Harry in the dark is confusing. I also loved Mrs. Figg! I was so surprised to find out she was a witch! And I was even more surprised when Aunt Petunia admitted she knew what Dementors are .... something is up with her!! (hide spoiler)]

I finally finished this book and I can't believe it! (view spoiler)[After 800+ pages it's a cliff hanger. Noooooooooo!! I knew there were other books and they continued on with the story, but I didn't expect it to just end like it did. Overall I really liked the book, but it did go up and down for me and I was wanting it to end. Until it did and then I didn't! (hide spoiler)]

It got up to 114 degrees yesterday! Today it's supposed to be "much cooler" - only 105 degrees and didn't get below 80 overnight. Thank goodness for air conditioning.

I always thought it was much cooler in Maine, Erika!!

@Danielle - I lived in Cornwall for a year and yeah, not much summer!!! It's even harder when it's hot and you're not used to it and don't have air conditioning!

Where are you at Erika? I'm near Los Angeles. The humidity is also supposed to increase here - just yuck!

It's supposed to be over 110 degrees (44 C) today! I'm already sweating just thinking about it.

Let me check with the captain's group on this, Linda. Since it's more an implied pile of dirt (it doesn't exactly look like dirt, more like the picture implies it's a pile of dirt) I'd rather make sure - unless you planned to read it anyways.
