I have two golden retrievers and two cats that I inherited from my mom - one is a feral who just lets me feed her, and the other is a fluffy orange cat named Mandy - I found out that most orange cats are male, so I guess it's unusual she's a girl. I've been cuddling with one of my pups all morning and of course, Mandy gets jealous and has to get on me as well - if you've seen the news, there's been another mass shooting which happened about 30 miles away from me. So sad and tragic and frustrating that these things keep happening.

I love most of KA's books! I did read The Hookup and I enjoyed it - not my favorite, but still great.

It's still early here, so trick-or-treating hasn't started yet. My dogs will be barking non-stop and I have to put up a babygate and keep them in the hallway so they can see everything but can't get out
