Thanks! I doubt she'll be with me long - she's a 2-3 year old golden retriever and not too big, so unless there's something wrong with her behavior or health-wise she'll find a home quickly.

I hope everyone is doing great!!! I'm sorry my book so far this week have been pretty short and I haven't been able to read as much as I've liked - I've had to read them for other challenges. I've got one more shorter book and then hopefully on to longer ones for the rest of the week and into next week. Plus, it was my birthday, my 8-year-old nephew has been over a couple of times and my brother is doing some work on my house. I'm supposed to get a new foster dog this afternoon and hopefully after that things settle down!

My favorites so far are and (plus I re-read a couple of Kristen Ashley books that I always love!)

My worst was that I read for our MPG the first week.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I've been trying to read, but I've also been glued to the TV - the fires here are so devastating. I'm not in any danger, but yesterday the smoke was so thick even near my house and the smell of burning in the air it hurts your eyes and lungs. My nephew stay over Friday night and was here all day yesterday - he's 8 so is constantly on the go. I don't have kids of my own, so, as much as I love him, I was ready for him to leave last night! 😍

I've finished my last book on the list. I don't think I'll have time to finish anything else, but I'll be starting on some books for our next word.

The Great Alone was a tough book to read - although I rated it 4 stars, I can't say I enjoyed it. It covered some difficult topics and was pretty sad.

Arrggggghhhhhh!! I'm looking over the books I have earmarked for SRC (which I put off 'cuz they didn't have many letters for this week's word) and several have none of the letters for next week, at least on first glance.
