Well, at least this was worthy as a Quidditch book! And if we ever have another challenge like that one, the author's got plenty more to choose from. Am I right?????

I think the only thing I liked about this book was how he could "use his magic to increase his girth and length." That would come in handy. Otherwise it was pretty silly at best.

Yep - not pretting coming back up! But I think this one is the brownish-yellow topaz color. :-)

I'm thinking it's related to the holidays, but Laura can make the determination. The buddy read Cat mentioned in Msg 564 works (disclaimer - it's not for everybody! 😉)

For our last week there is also a mini challenge to earn some extra points - Help Save Christmas Mini-Challenge

There are 40 tasks that we can read for (using the books we read for our wheel word) and some extra points if we finish all 40. So, take a peek at the tasks and we'll get the planning spreadsheet updated as soon as possible so we can start claiming tasks.

I think it's easier with a longer word. I did some checking on Decorations - I think finding the word in the text and on the cover wouldn't be too hard. The alternate word for genre is "festive" and another team had that word this week, so we can always use the same book they did. The word in the title is the hardest one, but there are a few books out there that would work. So, that's my choice, but I'll read for any of them if you guys want one of the others.

I was hoping to get some extra points reading the BOM's but I'm still #160 on the waiting list for Crazy Rich Asians (and from the discussion thread and Laura's comments, I guess I'm not too sad) and #18 for The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein. Oh well.....next time!
