I love this group because each challenge is more creative than the last - you guys keep outdoing yourselves. Thank you for all the effort and love you put into these challenges and all the hard work and time you give - you mods are amazing!!
Hey Newts!
Well, due to your awesomeness, we are now in 5th place!!! Whoo hoo!!! The last minute push you all did, as well as making sure all the tasks and characters were read for, was amazing. There is still another day for all the teams to update their spreadsheets, so it's possible we move back down to 6th, but I'm hoping (fingers and toes crossed) we hold our spot!!
Some final numbers so you guys can see how wonderful you are:

We had team members that also participated in Qudditch and the Maze
And....several team members completed their GoodReads Reading Challenge goals - Claire, Erika, Laura, Nox, Sandy; and several team members are close - Danielle, Heli, Jennifer and Sassafrass!
A huge thanks to Laura for being and awesome co-captain, and also to Danielle, who was our reading machine and also helped out with our planning spreadsheet.

Like I mentioned earlier, teams have until tomorrow to make final updates, so things can change - check back!! And I'm sure I'll see you all around in future challenges.
Yay Newts!!! I just want to say you have been an amazing team! We've done really well - we'll probably end up in 6th place. I'll get everything input tonight or tomorrow morning and post a final update, but what's really amazing is we read more than 860 books (I'll have exact numbers tomorrow.) Now I'm off to have a drink!

Whoo hoo!!! We've got all of our Character Spell-out's done!! Great job Newts - you're amazing.We've got just over 3 hours left - so read like crazy and get your books logged in so we get credit for book points. I still need to finish inputting the books for the tasks, but I don't have to have that done right away, so I'm going to keep reading until the deadline and then finish inputting after that.
