Jessi and team,A heads up that I will be leaving for the beach for a week starting Saturday. It's our annual family beach week. We have been concerned with Corona rates going up they might shut the beach, but we've lucked out. :)) I will be doing some beach reading, but probably not able to enter as much on the SS.
@Kate,I checked the first 10 pages of tags for your book, The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane for both "tree" and "hiking", but no luck. I really thought "tree" might be tagged since the tea trees are such a central part of the book, as you'll see when you read it. Anyway, if you want to search yourself, just start with page 11.
Both Pachinko and The Sun Down Motel, just came in from my library. When it rains it pours!Jessi, is it ok if I read them and answer questions for this round, or is it too late?
I'm not sure I can get time for both, but I'll try if we can count them!
Oh my gosh, Megan! I've never heard of that happening. So sad that you can't just get it back either. I wonder if you call the library and explain, if they could move you up on the list so you could be next again?
@Zoe,For your tag on your book, The Year of Witching, the tag has to be exact, so that one won't work. You can use plurals, but that's the only exception. Thanks for looking and let us know if you find one that works!

I agree! I purposely chose a few that are in a series (even though I rarely read series) so I could use those.

Happy that was ok with you! I didn't want to be bossy! :)
Great job working your magic on the SS, Jessi!Read, Kate! Read! :)) No pressure at all, but if you do finish your book it will give us another word!
Everyone has done great this round! It takes a village!
@Ann,I chose task 54 "Hot drink on the cover" for your book, Perfect Family and task 184 "Book with a brown cover" for your book, The Secret.
If you want to change either of those tasks before the deadline, please go ahead and then let me know. I just didn't want them to miss out on the extra points.
Midu wrote: "Jessi wrote: "@Kate, if you finish O is for Outlaw we will have another complete word!"I have the Wytches by Terry Pratchett that I didn't count but read during the previous round. Any good?"
Midu, here is the rule:
Only books read during the specified round can be used (“read date” is what counts, not the day you start.) Books cannot be “banked” from previous rounds to use later in the challenge
So if you finished reading your book before this round began, then it cannot be used.
Jessi,I'm going to be leaving soon, but I'll check things out when I get home about noon (EST). When the deadline is up, I'll remove any check boxes for tasks for books that were not finished this round. Hopefully everyone will get their books done in the mad rush to the end!

Thanks, Zoe! Sorry, I don't have the answer for if you should read the book, or save it for next round. Jessi is working on the SS and moving things to make it work best, so she will know.

Thanks, Kate!
