Thank you, Stacie!

On the Task SS with the Sub-Series grouping, do we read just for the DEATH categories, or do we read for all of them, like Witches, City Watch, etc?

You're not alone, Vicki! I also moved War and Peace to my DNF from "intimidating". I even bought the book for this, but maybe I'll finish it another time. Hmmm...probably not! :)

It was great being on the team with all of you! Thanks, Jessi for all your hard work and hope life gets a bit better everyday for you!
Hugs to all!

Ann,
Just giving the page number is perfect! Sorry, I'm so late to answer your question.
So great that some of you have read more than you expected! That's why it's called teamwork! :)
Wishing our teamies across the ocean good health and hoping for all that we get an effective vaccine, so we can resume at least most of our former lifestyles! Our rates in the US are so high! It's hard to see so many people here not following best practices. We're all in this together!

I have not been reading as much as usual. Our 6 kids and 6 grandkids are keeping us busy at the beach. Working on a few books, but I'm going to have to remove some from the SS, I'm afraid.
Sorry!

For the tag, it's not where the tag word (such as forest) is found in the actual book. To find the tag:
1. Go to the main page of the edition you read
2. On the right hand side of that page you'll see the Genres listed and the number of users.
3. At the bottom of click on "see top shelves"
4. Now you'll see a whole list of top shelves. These are the tags.
5. If you click in the search bar at the top and then hold the Ctrl key while you type the "f" key you'll get another small box. Type the word "forest" and it will highlight any tags for forest on that page.
6. If it comes up 0/0, then you need to go to page 2 and repeat the process.
It is a lengthy process sometimes! If you'd rather not look for tags that's ok. Some people enjoy searching and others find it too time-consuming. Personally, it's not my favorite thing to do! :)
I searched through the first 5 pages for your book and didn't find "forest" as a tag, so that's why I asked.
Hopefully this helps you understand it better, but again no worries if you'd rather not do the search!

Thanks for clarifying for me, Jessi!

When you insert the checkbox on the task page of the planning spreadsheet it makes it difficult for me to know if you mean it for this round, or if you've already read it in previous round. Since each one of us is allowed to only read for a task one time, it means I have to go through all the previous rounds and make sure you didn't already use it. Phew!
I understand you want to mark it somehow so you know you selected it. Instead of making the checkbox, if you could maybe change the fill color (to alert you) or put in a little symbol (as some of you have been doing) that would be just fine. That way you'll know and I'll know it's just your way of marking the task.
Thanks so much!

A heads up that I will be leaving for the beach for a week starting Saturday. It's our annual family beach week. We have been concerned with Corona rates going up they..."
Oh Chava, I feel so bad for you! That is so hard! Personally, I think your country is being very smart to be so strict, but oh that is so hard. Especially to have only one hour to exercise and have to wear a face mask. Ugh.
People in the US are overall doing a better job of wearing masks inside, but some people are just not following the rules at all. Our rates are going up as a result. We were so concerned they'd shut down the beaches again bc people are not being respectful. We can easily SD at the beach where we go. The ocean is right out the front door of our rental and in all the years we've rented that house there is hardly anyone at that spot on the beach. We know we are very fortunate!
