Bill and Ted blew it out of the water on the BOM points. Maybe if we had better books we could have had more readers answering questions. Also, then some is just luck of the draw if someone on our team is chosen to write questions.
I always look at challenges as a success if I met some nice new people and read some great books along the way. Mission accomplished! Hope to see some of you in UNO!

Could you please add "The Show Won't Go On" to your wheel shelf?
Thanks so much!"
Done."
Gotcha! Thanks so much!

Your book, "e kleine theewinkel in Tokio" page count does not work. The page number for your link is 352, but on the tracking sheet it says 344 pages. If the link is the one you read, let me know and I'll change the page numbers for you.
Thank you!

For the color bonus, must the cover be total red?"
Just reposting my question ;)"
Saar, looks red enough to me. Tineye gives it only 30%, but to me it's one of those books that is not accurate. For this challenge we just go by our gut feeling and mine is red!

Let's read it out for a strong ending!!
XO

Judith, that's great that your house sold! Congratulations!!

BTW, I really loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Highly recommend it."
Glad you liked it, Karen. I read it the first time for my RL bookgroup and we all liked it with a great discussion too. I enjoyed the reread also!

On the tracking sheet you have your book The Client marked as 556 pages. The book, The Client, on your wheel shelf has 483 pages. Could you please correct this?
Thanks so m..."
No issue at all! I had the same problem for 2 weeks after my knee replacement. Hope every day is another day better for you!

10. Don is the one who ask for a divorce. What do you think of the requirements he put on the settlement? Don was a complete jerk. I wasn't surprised at all. Good riddance and move on with your life, Evelyn!
11. Do you think Monique’s negotiation with her boss and Evelyn were realistic? Do you think she is growing as a person from the interview process?
Yes, I do. Monique is growing by listening to Evelyn's story. She's starting to stand up for herself more than she used to and gaining confidence.
12. What is your first impression of Max? Does that change throughout the session?
I feel the same as some others mentioned. He didn't make much of an impression on me.
13. What do you think of the Evelyn and Mick plan and her reasons’ for carrying it out?
I understood her reasons, but I had a difficult time with it. I guess they accomplished their goal.
14. What do you think of Celia reaction? Does it seem realistic to you that she didn’t think they would sleep together? I had mixed feelings on this. On the one hand I could understand how devastated Celia was, but on the hand it seemed like she wasn't being reasonable. They should have communicated openly about their expectations.

6. How do you think Evelyn handled her relationship with the abusive Don?
We know that Evelyn is determined to do whatever she needs to do to get where she wants to be. She was young and vulnerable and her behavior was sadly fairly common at that point in time, when women didn't have as many options.
7. How believable do you feel the progression of the friendship to romance between Evelyn and Celia is, especially bearing in mind the time period?
I thought it was very well-written and believable. Having any kind of same sex relationship in the 50s would have been considered very taboo, however we all know it happened. It just had to be hidden in order to preserve her image.
8. Do you think the author got the old Hollywood vibe right?
Absolutely.
9. What do you think of Evelyn’s plan to fake a miscarriage in order to gain sympathy instead of getting bad press? How does it make you feel about her character?
. I saw it coming. I think it was a smart move for her career.
