35559 Louise,
Did you like The Guest List? Mary, I see you're planning to read it too. I found it to be a fast, fun read!

Thanks for that info, Louise!

I guess I've been lucky so far with my books. I'm not super techy, so I have no clue.
I get this message..."Hello! Thank you for your patience as we continue to make improvements and prepare to bring the new book page experience to all our members. Share your feedback or visit this help page for information about the new book page." when I go to a book page, but everything else looks the same to me.

Weird!

35559 Dale,
Can you please mark your book, Playing a Player as "read". It is on your shelf, but still showing as "want to read". Thanks!

35559 Mary C and Stacey,
I wonder if it's bc you're on your phone?? I don't have any trouble seeing it on my laptop. Feel free to keep asking and one of us can help you!

35559 Mary,
I read The Guest List in July of 2021. I thought it was fun and a fast read. Here's my review if you'd like to read it:

Hope you enjoy!
Sorry the new page format is giving you fits! Ugh.

35559 Way to go, team! I'm so glad i added The Great Passage on the SS that I finished early morning before I left the house. I thought I'd be home by mid-afternoon, but actually just got home. I wasn't able to finish Under Her Care, so moved it to Round 4.

Stacey,
You've got The Humans tagged for "queer" 194. I don't see that when I search the tags. Can you please tell me what page it's on?

35559 I agree with Louise, Vicky. The cover is a little too light.

Louise, I am finishing up Apples Never Fall today and then I'll go to the thread and answer questions, so we can use it for points. I'm enjoying it, but it's just taking me forever to read it! It hasn't been one that calls my name. Good news is that I drifted away from it to read The Great Passage, so I'll have that done before deadline also. Hopefully I can still squeeze in Under Her Care. It sounds like it will be a page turner.

All those O's for next round! Yikes!

Nice! I'm not a "serial reader", but if you like some of the other books a bit better, let me know. I may give it a shot.

35559 Hey Mary,
What did you think of the Zig Zag Girl?

I read it about a year ago and even though I didn't love it, maybe it made more of an impact than I thought, because I still remember it well.

Yes! You don't have to wait for a certain deadline to begin reading for the next round. Only when the challenge first opens. Read away!!

35559 Good job on Round 2 team! We did better than I anticipated with it being a holiday for the US players.

Round 1=1577 pts
Round 2=1385 pts
Round 3=TBD. Let's blow them out of the water!!

35559 Devann,
Congratulations on being the first on the team to finish a book for Round 3! Great that it works for letter T, since we've got two of those in our spell out! If it works for any other letters, please mark them too. Always good to have options if we can. :)

35559 Phew! I saw you on the SS, Louise and was hoping you had quick fingers! Good for you!

I finished the Tumbling Turner Sisters earlier and was kicking myself that I didn't at least get that one on the SS when I finished it. Time slipped away while I was reading! Big relief that I got them in on time!

35559 Done!!! Just crossed the finish line with minutes to spare! Sure hope my timing was ok. 3;56pm EST, so I have 4 minutes until London time!

35559 I finished The Silent Wife and added the audio version to the spreadsheet.

I'm have just about 50 pages remaining in the The Tumbling Turner Sisters and should finish it tonight and get it logged after we take our daughter and son-in-law to the airport late morning, so in time. It's a brown cover.

The Sea of Monsters is going to read fast. I'm only about 25%, but will get it read in time. It's a brown cover.

The Lying Game never came into my library, so I've removed it from the spreadsheet. It was a brown cover, but looks like we'll have our quota.
