Liz, if you go to amazon site and look at your content/books it should be listed (as a library book). You should be able to send it to your kindle from there...

But I am moving the Alex Versus series up on my To Read list since you all seem to like it so much.
Getting the AC in my van fixed tomorrow...thank God! No AC and hot flashes are killer. :)

Still working on Virgin River books. They are hitting the spot right now because I can't really concentrate on much these days.
I did go to the little bookstore near my house - it sells new & used. I got my daughter 2 books for her summer reading, which were priced new. I usually get from the library but I like to spend some money in this store every now and then just to make sure she stays open. I turned in some books for credit and I got a used copy of The Martian and used copies of After Midnight and The Vampire Who Loved Me, which we were on my wish list for some reason, so someone must have recommended them somewhere. All in all for 5 books (2 were new, 3 used) I spent $20.

me my son and husband share a itunes account... when my son down loads an app or gets a facetime call it shows up on my phone...
so now..."
Liz its in settings. On your son's phone go to settings and the then to facetime, then uncheck the other phone numbers listed. Or it might be the settings in your phones, I can't remember. SO just check both. Also, there is a setting for dowloading apps to "all devices" that you have to uncheck as well. I've never had texts show up on other family members' phones but can't hurt to check and make sure just your phone number is listed there as well.
I wish we never shared an account for our family. It was easier when the kids were young but now to split them up my daughter will lose all her music. We'd have to rip all the songs she bought from itunes to a cd then reload into a new itunes account for her. Sigh. And somehow my younger daughter's contacts and my contacts all blended together, but hubby and other daughter don't have this problem. Its such a nightmare.

So I'll just keep reading these until something more exciting gets released or I see something shiny.

I did not care for Uprooted. I have no idea how it won awards.

I don't know whether it is only my imagination, but from Iron and Magic I got th..."
I agree I remember Hugh thinking if he feels guilty now why did he not feel anything when he was doing some of those things he regretted, and speculated that Roland had more control over him than he realized. He said a comment to Landon near the end too about him being controlled. When talking with Roland at the end he said to him "You forgot the part where you turned me into a happy idiot every time I tried to do something you didn't like."
One thing that confused me, I thought Landon was after the castle grounds from before Hugh showed up - I thought that was one of the reasons they allied and got married. To defend hte castle because Landon kept trying to buy it. But at the end Hugh said it was because of him Landon showed up and not for the castle....Elara realized the same thing, but the timing seems off. Unless I am confused which is highly possible.
I loved the humor. The part when Fortner was there and they were talking about where everyone should sit. "Should we sit the all at our table so it will be easier for the marksmen to shoot them?" "No, let's split them up at three tables...."
I loved Bucky. Is he supposed to a unicorn? At one point it was mentioned shadows or something formed on his head resembling a horn....

HBW - that was my 2nd book by Terry Spear and I didn't really like the first one either, though I did finish it (it was a jaguar shifter book). Guess this author is not for me....

I did finish the Lindsay Buroker Fallen Empire series which was pretty good though with some issues. I did enjoy it and would give overall series 3.5 stars.
But now I seem to be having trouble finding something good....

Doug, regarding A Knight in Shining Armor. I was going to read it then I read the reviews. The ending has issues. Doesn't sound like an HEA.

I tried to read The Wolfe because of all the great reviews and I like books in that era. It was horrible. Truly bad. I couldn't believe all the good reviews.
Here's my review. I do still get comments/likes on it (most of any of my reviews.) This is just my opinion of course and I'm happy for others who liked it. I did get some trolls making obnoxious comments on my review so maybe I hit a nerve with some people. :)

Set in rural South Dakota, lots of humor, paranormal mysteries with some romance. You'd need to head back to the beginning, [book:Near..."
I've had the first few of this series on my TBR for YEARS. I think I even got them for free....
I'll have to remember these when I need something fun. Thanks for the reminder.

So I just realized The Fallen Empire bundle I got for free on Amazon is the first 3 books of a NINE book series....They are good books, but I wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. :)
