re: Shannon Mayer - Her books do look tempting but I have not grabbed any yet just because of the authors I already have that I can't keep up with LOL I think I may be dropping 1 or 2 in the future so there may be room after all

I should point out that some authors have assistants that are doing some of their social media work and they present themselves as the author many times. As best as I can tell Faith Hunter has a couple of assistants but nobody stands in for Faith, they are all identified. Not sure about some others

@Lulu - I finished
Archangel's Prophecy and here is my review, still got this story running through my head. I got to grab a historical romance before I can get back to anything paranormal. Amazing book and looks like the opening to a game changer in the next book possibly and horribly frustrating.

@HBW - "a bunch of people going out of their way to really butter her up like they are placating her. Not my thing. " - mine either and I see it on many authors pages, if I was an author I think I could handle the criticism a lot better than the syrupy fawning over them. The vast majority are very nice people but as always with creative people you can never tell what might set them off or be misinterpreted.

@HappyBookWorm - "I'll still read her posts but will be careful of what I say there. " - She deleted one of my posts she did not like, she has also gotten a LOT more political in her postings which is her right but usually a bad idea for an author. I will probably refrain from doing much posting there except for generalities.

WOW, just finished
Archangel's Prophecy going to have to think on this for a bit, it was good but stressful and the ending kinda sucked but I hate endings that leave you hanging. Not a cliffhanger by definition but close enough for me to hate it. I did not scan any of it I can say that :)

WOW, long post here LOL
@HappyBookWorm - thanks for the heads up on
Malcolm & Isabel , I had given up on her ever writing that series.
@Karen - no mention of chicory coffee :)
@Frisco - I kinda hate it when I feel like I have to abandon a once favorite author but I was forcing myself to like the last couple I did read (if that makes any sense)
@Kristi - I got a big ZERO from my lottery purchase but I will be back in line today to do it again LOL Congrats on your win.
@everyone - that sux about The Others, Black Jewels is definitely too dark for me, which is slightly hypocritical since one of my All Time Top 5 Favorite Series is the
The Broken Empire which had possibly the most horrible "hero" of all time

I saw where Elizabeth Hunter had released
The Seeker and with all the other books I have stacked up to read already I decided to just skip it, I have read everything she has written but the Irin books have been going downhill IMHO since we found out who the "father" was in the original story arc. I have some other thoughts about the decline of her writing that may be my own imagination so I won't write them but curious to see if anyone else has though her writing was been getting less entertaining? Her writing itself has always been exceptional but the last 2 books I read were kinda boring to be honest for me. Am I imagining this stuff? I do miss the Cambio stories.

The Iron Duke after reading
The Kraken King and have still not read it, I got to get some organization going with my TBR :) (I remember waiting for those serials also, they were great)

Silent Blade had disappeared from my Kindle library, maybe it was combined with other stories in another book I have someplace.

Just a note, if you have not read them you have missed 2 exceptional stories (exceptional stories from Ilona Andrews who wouldda thought) but I like to reread these which puts them into a VERY short list of books.
Silent Blade I just bought this one again, somehow I can't find it on my kindle anywhere
Silver Shark loved this one.
both are just a few hours of reading at best but stories you never forget.

I am hoping she is, she was creepy and powerful, terrible mix LOL
Lulu wrote: "Good to know, Doug. I am looking forward to Archangels Prophecy but hoping NS isn't just dragging the series out and she makes serious progress on the story arc (The Cascade and Lijuan) and moves t..."Trying to figure out if Lijuan is really dead adds a bit of stress to the overall series :)

Well I bought book 1 and it has been gathering dust in my TBR ever since and I might add book 2 to it since I did love the original series, file under possible marathon one day soon :)
Atone in Darkness

Well I finished
Lionheart and loved it, near 5 Star for me taken in with the whole trilogy and loved the ending but I did give it 4 Stars because I did some scanning in a few places where it got a bit too verbose. Started
Archangel's Prophecy and so far it is intriguing but too early to say anything much but I do love her style of writing which might not appeal to everyone I guess.

@Lulu - I will be starting it tomorrow I think, just finished
Lionheart and I loved it, got to write the review tomorrow. I am lagging behind a bit :)

"I almost feel like I have enough books. " - BLASPHEMY - HERETIC!! LOL

TINNGG wrote: "I thought The Duke with the Dragon Tattoo was flat compared to the others of the series. "Sometimes I think that the fact the first 2 books in this series were so over-the-top exceptional I expect all of them to be and that sadly would be near impossible."
So while I did give it 4 Stars I think because I had to compare it to the other books in this series BUT if I honestly compared it to the majority of other historical romance novels by other authors it might be considered 5 Stars IMHO :)

Blood and Sand (NOTE: This is book 2 in the expanded series but Amazon has it listed as book 3 for some reason) but I read all the books in order and that might have influenced my enjoyment since I gave it 5 Stars. The timeline would be reading
The Elemental Mysteries: Complete Series Books One - Four then read
