The first time I played it through I got the suicide ending . I read up and have gone through it several times now with much better endings :) That first time I was shocked, like WTF, he dies???? The game has about 4 endings, 2 really good, one decent and the suicide ending. Ending depends on choices you make all through the game

I have read the whole Wallflower series almost (got about 25% left on book 4) but I am wondering if
A Wallflower Christmas is worth the cost? $8 for a Christmas themed sequel with characters I never heard of seems a bit steep, wondering if it really is worth the money. Anyone read it?

@Lisa - LOL, I never said they were bad but she just seemed to beat the hell out of the heroes to the point I got tired of it :)

Reading
Devil in Winter which I would have bet money I had read before but if I did then my memory is much worse than I thought, As with all these books it is a great story and I am just barely started

Well it won't be out until next summer but I jumped on the pre-order link :)
Emerald Blaze: A Hidden Legacy Novel by Ilona Andrews
https://www.amazon.com/Emerald-Blaze-...

I am pretty sure I have read some of the books but starting from book 1 which I have not read will keep me entertained for some time:)

Well I am still on a bit of a historical romance kick, read
Forever My Duke and this was the second book by this author and probably the last, her style is to drag you through pages of little or nothing but keeping interest in a good basic story than after a few hundred pages abruptly ends the book, since she has done it this was twice I have to assume this is her "style" but won't be fooled again. I am really tempted to go back and reduce my 4 Star charity rating for the first book to 3
On a better note I started The Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas and I expect good reading ahead until my mood changes :) Starting
Secrets of a Summer Night today

UGH, forget about
The Dark Legend of the Foreigner it might be a great story but it reads like it was originally in some other language and suffered a really poor interpretation to English to the point you have no idea of the plot of where the story is going sadly.

Evil Amazon and Netgalley conspired to make me get this book :)
The Dark Legend of the Foreigner If it is as good as the synopsis seems, I am going to like it but first back to
Hello Stranger

I usually go to bed between 11-12 and I can't tell you the last time I stayed up past 1AM to read a book but I am here reading
Hello Stranger and only at the 70% mark and not wanting to go to bed, much more story than just a romance although the romance is still the heart of the story. I guess I am forced to go to bed and start again tomorrow. Exceptional book

LOL, I guess I forgot to mention she seems to be in the group that is waiting for all the Baby Boomers to die off so the world will be a much better place.
I am not about to tell anyone who/what they should not read, I do give my opinions on stories in my reviews. I don't care what the politics of an author are or I could never read another Ilona Andrews book (Gordon is very politically active on Twitter) and that ain't happening, but I also avoid authors who reach a level of offensiveness that it would lend a negative opinion to a review of what might be a very good book. Good authors never allow their political beliefs to bleed into their books except very subtly, the best never let you know their political beliefs or pet causes in their writings. this is not limited to politics as a few of you know of my lifetime boycott of the Author Who Shall Not Be Named :) (is she even writing anymore Lisa?)

@Karen - The fact that I did not care for
Starborn has more to do with my mood (reading 2 exceptional historical romance before that) and the fact that I did not read book 1 so it may be a great book for those who did read book 1.
I had to DNF it and grabbed
Hello Stranger and was glad I did after only a very few pages :)

After years of loving and supporting her books I had to drop pretty much anything to do with Elizabeth Hunter, since she became involved with the guy who would become her husband she has been more obsessively politically active, I disagreed with her in my last correspondence on her page when she was going off the deep end about Brett Kavanaugh by pointing out a couple of facts and she deleted my post and called me a "apologist" for a sexual predator. I still monitor her twitter account like most authors but hers is much more filled with political rants than literary topics. I find it all very sad since she was one of my favorite authors but IMHO the last couple of books I read were far below her earlier works in quality and entertainment but that is just my opinion.

re:
Starborn I am about to DNF it and although I cannot say it was really bad, it was just boring but I should mention I have been reading some good books and Katie MacAlister has never been one of my favorite authors even though I tried with her dragon books. I also did not read book 1
Fireborn so that have some bearing on it also since you are dropped into the middle of these peoples lives with no backstory which I am sure was in book 1. Even with all those excuses I still think it would be a 3 Star reading at best sadly.

I have an ARC of a new book called
Starborn and I think it may be good but going from a really good historical romance to a fantasy adventure is not a good transition and I am having a hard time getting into this book ( I want to grab
Hello Stranger , the teaser in Amazon looked REALLY good)

The dangers of reading a really good book? You HAVE to buy the next one in the series !
Hello Stranger

Yes, something bad happens but I loved the ending, one of the better reads of the last couple of months
Devil in Spring

Does anyone else get stressed when you read a book and it looks like the HEA has happened and you look down and see that you are at the 70% mark, so you know something bad is going to happen before the end?
