I didn't think too much about the book bingeing I did on Cyber Sunday, but my orders keep on arriving. Today I got:

Another order arrived today! Got

Oooooh! Sally, I'm jealous! I would love to have that Beatrix Potter book in my collection. I recently read a great mystery series by
Susan Wittig Albert where Beatrix Potter is the main character. FYI, the first in the series is
The Tale of Hill Top Farm.

Another delivery arrived yesterday:

Considering I'm currently at 275 of 315 (87%), now 15 books (5%) behind schedule, with one month to go, I'll settle for reaching 300.

How did you do in this year's vote? I ended up with only two first place winners among my votes:
Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist and
The Day the Crayons Quit. I did have one that won second place in one category and third in another though,
The Golem and the Jinni.

Girls Don't Fly by
Kristen Chandler

Got an awesome surprise today. One of the used books I ordered arrived signed! It was
Dogs Don't Lie: A Pru Marlowe Pet Noir by
Clea Simon.
www.thriftbooks.com is my favorite online used book stores.

What you really do is get rid of unneeded furniture, like the sofa and the bed. Make room for more bookcases. You can always sit and sleep on the floor, right? ;-)

I'm getting a little worried. 2 months left, and I'm not sure I'm going to reach my goal. I've currently read only 255 books toward my goal of 315 books, which puts me 9 books (3%) behind schedule. :-(
