Laurel, what cities are you coming to visit? Thom has a good suggestion, fellow Goodread members might be able to give you some good suggestions of stores to check out.

Why does it seem every time I go to visit a used book store, more and more often as I go down the aisles looking at titles, I'm saying to myself, "Got it, got it, got it,..." :-)

Tiffany, guess what? I was able to get a signed copy of Steelheart at Anderson's! I unfortunately missed seeing Sanderson, but I was able to pick up a copy of this awesome book. Just curious, are you able to read his signature at all? To me it just looks like squiggle. lol

That's how I am. If I'm not sure I'll like a book, I check it out of the library first. After I've read it and liked it, I often go buy it so I can reread it whenever I want.

I feel like I'm slacking. I didn't get to read as much as I would have liked in September and so I'm only 3 books (1%) ahead of schedule with 240 of 315 (76%) read.
