I know I already congratulated you on Facebook, but your good news deserves another congrats here as well! ;) I am excited for you Becky and wishing you the best of luck. Thanks for the shout out for the Facebook Hop too. I am so pumped! :)
Slang! That drives me crazy. I work with 7-12th graders and nothing turns me off to books written for them more than the use of slang. Even if the words are something they would say, the context is often awkward. And, as the article said, it goes out of date fast and discredits a work to teenagers.
Did you see your sales on those books drop from Createspace when they increased on Ingram or are the new sales on Ingram in addition to your regular createspace sales?

Haha! Awww...thank you Sam. I hope you like it. My youngest daughter inspired this one. She is almost two now, which is right in the age range this book is written for, and is obsessed with dogs. :)
Hello everyone! For those who don't know me, I am a speech-language pathologist and the author of the Talking Tales series. Each book in the series focuses on a core sound or group of sounds to help with speech development. I have decide to run a 50% off sale on the Kindle edition of Puppy's Bubble. This book helps introduce children to some of the earliest developing sounds to promote babbling and early words. It is also a great first reader book with it's repetitive and simple text. Check it out and please feel free to let others know what you think by leaving a review! Thank you in advance! :) https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XRY...
