Awesome way to start the week Alex!

Slang! That drives me crazy. I work with 7-12th graders and nothing turns me off to books written for them more than the use of slang. Even if the words are something they would say, the context is often awkward. And, as the article said, it goes out of date fast and discredits a work to teenagers.

Haha! Awww...thank you Sam. I hope you like it. My youngest daughter inspired this one. She is almost two now, which is right in the age range this book is written for, and is obsessed with dogs. :)

Hello everyone! For those who don't know me, I am a speech-language pathologist and the author of the Talking Tales series.
