185 No worries, Lynn! I've done a little bit of searching for your book but no luck yet. Was it like a Harlequin or other romance of that type, or inspirational/Christian fiction, or....?? Can you remember any character names or what the cover looked like? You never know what will trigger a memory for someone, so every little detail helps!
185 Maybe one of the books by Mitsumasa Anno?

Anno's Journey is one.
185 A Boy and His Dog is award-winning, but there's not exactly young romance in it, and I think that was what the OP was looking for.

185 Goge, I wasn't able to get my hands on a copy of the Bruce Coville book, so I did some digging around and found out that the short story "Snow," (from Book of Nightmares II) was written by Al Sarrantonio, and is also included in his short story collection: Toybox, which my library has. I just read the story and it's EXACTLY as you described. I would be happy to scan and email you a copy of the story, if you want to send me your email in a private message. :)
185 Hi Lynn, I moved your post to the Unsolved folder, where more people will be likely to see (and hopefully solve) it!
185 Yay! You're welcome. :)
185 hmmm....ok, two more suggestions:

Legion of the Damned has cyborgs that are "human minds trapped in armored killing machines."

or maybe something by David Weber?

185 Blood Sins, maybe?
185 You're welcome!
185 Possibly the Robotech series by Jack McKinney. The first one is Genesis.

Or one of Harry Turtledove's Worldwar books. Worldwar: In the Balance
Horror book [s] (4 new)

185 link: The Big Book of Amazing Facts by Malvina Vogel.
185 Hi Michael, how long ago is "waaay back"?

185 Ashley, do you remember what time period the woman goes back to? Does she travel back and forth between the past and present, or does she just go back and stay there? (Trying to help jog your memory a bit!)
185 Sounds a little bit like Total Control

185 I'm a little surprised at how many books out there have Nazi vampires. I don't know if any of these fit the OP's request, but if anyone else is interested in this theme:

Fiends of the Eastern Front: Operation Vampyr

Descendant

The Midnight Guardian

Darkness on the Ice

185 Possibly Bloody Good? First in a trilogy by Georgia Evans. The time frame isn't exactly right, but worth a shot.
