185 Bruce Coville's Book of Nightmares II: More Tales to Make You Scream has a short story called "Snow" that is about some kids who wish that it would snow forever. Ring any bells?

185 There should be an edit button up by the title of this thread, click there to move to solved. Or a mod can do it for you. Glad you found your book - it was one of my childhood favorites and I recently bought a used copy and reread it.

Here's a link, too: The Ghosts. The green paperback cover is one I remember having.

185 Hi Deanna, I'm pretty sure The Ghosts is the one you're thinking of. I just pulled my copy off the shelf and found the bit about time being like a wheel. The rest fits, too.

185 You're welcome! There are two other books in that series, too. :)

185 Or more likely, Epicby Conor Kostick - has more of a father/son relationship, I believe.

185 Was the main character an adult or a teen? It's rather unusual for a YA book to have an adult protagonist.
185 Maybe Maiden Bride (Harlequin Historical, #332)? The heroine is Gillian and she was in a convent before being given in marriage to a brutish Lord.
185 I'm glad you found your book, Josie! Here's a link: Dr. Bloodmoney
185 You're welcome! Glad I could help.
185 Sounds like the Marmawell trilogy by Martine Leavitt. The first one is Dragon's Tapestry

I believe they were originally published under her maiden name, Martine Bates.
185 This is from 2008, so probably too late, but also a murder mystery involving the discovery of a bog body: Sacrifice by SJ Bolton.
185 eh, maybe Shades Of Fortune? Sounds like it's more a cosmetics empire than a publishing one, but worth a shot:

"Born into a family that fought its way from immigrant shores to the most prestigious avenues of Manhattan, Mimi marries into a family with an illustrious history and impeccable social standing. Now the ambitious president of the Miray cosmetics empire must struggle to keep it all from crumbling around her."
185 Possibly: The Race Myth

The Race Myth Why We Pretend Race Exists in America by Joseph Graves
185 You're welcome! I loved that book, too. It looks like the author, Marisha Pessl, has her second book coming out in August.
185 Your description makes me think of Special Topics in Calamity Physics
185 Norma Klein didn't write a lot of books from the boy's POV, but this one is: Give and Take

It's set in the summertime and the girlfriend is older and more experienced. The Kirkus review gives a lot of detail, maybe it will trigger a memory for you: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-re...
185 This seems like a long shot, too, but I thought I'd include it since it's not on the list Joseph posted above: The Night Garden It looks like it was only published in the UK.
185 A Handful of Stars by Barbara Girion.

From Kirkus Review: "Told in serial flashbacks, this is the story of Julie's life with epilepsy: how seizures begin in high school, how she copes with the consequences, Julie herself is complex and credible--embarrassed, secretive, angry, and self-isolating before coming to terms with her syndrome"
