185 So-moi, I found this thread from someone else who may be looking for the same book: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/9...

Do any of those details sound familiar?

185 It sounds like a version of the fairy tale "Bluebeard" but I don't recognize it. I'll poke around and see what I can find.

185 Glad you figured it out, Jester! I'll move this to solved for you and update the group bookshelf.
185 Congrats on finding your book, Lexi! Here's the link:Hear the Wind Blow
185 You're welcome. I love that story.

185 To quote the great Joan Didion, "Oh, wow."
185 Feliks - I think it's "A Story of Love"

185 Nope, it's still in unsolved. Up by the thread title is an "edit" link. Click that and select Solved-Adult fiction.

But if it doesn't work, no worries, I or another mod will take care of it for you.

Glad you found your book! Great search skills!
185 Awesome! Thanks for letting us know, Scott. I'll move this to solved now and shelve the book.
185 Roughly how long ago did you read this, Clare? Was it fiction or non-fiction? Do you think it was a UK publication? Just trying to help narrow the search area a bit.
185 How long ago did you read it?
185 Thanks, Shanna. I don't think we can call this one solved since the OP hasn't come back to confirm. But I'm not sure if it belongs in "possibly solved" or "query abandoned". Anyone?
185 Hm. This is the only link I can find on GR - not sure if it's the same book or not - Lost and Found Teddy

There is this listing on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Found-Jan-... which has a different ISBN. I suppose it's possible that it was reprinted with a different title.

185 Ann, you are one of the nicest, most polite and helpful people in this group. :)

185 By the way, "Wizkid", polite people are gracious when others try to help them and don't accuse them of participating in the degradation of society.
185 Lost and Found by Jan Mogensen. (it's part rabbit, part kangaroo) :)

185 Yay! I really loved that book, I'm glad it was the one you were looking for.
